I don't think using indecision was right. It's as though he has adhd. Vader is usually quick to decide. It's more that he stops doing something because it's at a crossroads and he knows that if he makes the choice, something bad will happen.

1:00 the fact that the emperor had Wolf Pack and the Courusant Guard present at his aide (which to my knowledge are two of the toughest and elite types the republic-now empire have) with vader/Anakin being able to kill them with no problem just puts me in awe at how powerful he is.

Darth Huno agreed the sequel trilogy adds absolutely nothing to the Star Wars saga. Heck people didn’t like the prequels but I personally like them because they added layers to the saga.

Love this. The most heartbreaking part is Vader reflecting on his past as Anakin so he could feel a slight sense of his old normality and for the love of Padme. The bit when he hugs her but he realises it’s just the emperor, then Vader deep breathes in panic and he suddenly realises again what he is. One of the best Sith Lords in the galaxy

the guy who plays palpatine does a great job of capturing the character.

@Danny Walters Jr. I'm one of the VFX Artists that worked on the film, those clone troopers weren't over weighted, they were really expensive and the owners of them didn't want anything to happen to them. SWT"s original plan was to have the troopers go flying across the room and crashing into the walls when they were getting shot.

The beginning actually made me well up a bit with tears. It actually makes me look more fondly at 1-3, something I’d never thought I’d say. This is top tier.

I'm an old SW fan, opening night 1977, I was there. I was there another 6 times before they took it out of our cinema. This interpretation took my breath away. The Vader I've always wanted to see. The conflicted, torn, and haunted Vader, grappling with his connection to Padme, the desire for revenge against Palpatine, and the thirst for absolute power. Well done, my hat is off to you.

Rewatching this masterpiece today i noticed something obvious but very powerful. Vader will always reject with violence or brutality his former name,but when Padmè calls him Anakin,Vader had no power at all over Skywalker,he can't repress his former self,Anakin's persona was fully victorious. Nice detail

Who's here after Lucasfilm lifted the copyright claim? Also it's nice to see so many fellow fans rally together in dark times. We've become more powerful then Disney can possibly imagine.

This is absolutely amazing! As an avid Star Wars fan in 2023 seeing the pitfalls of Disney's new canon, I can't help but say that this is just what the Star Wars universe needs. The story really fleshes out Vader as a character, especially with his anguish over Padme's death during the transition of the Galactic Republic into the Galactic Empire following Revenge of the Sith, and the special effects and acting far surpass those of any other fan film I have seen on KZread.

The actor playing Darth Vader perfectly captured his moves and mannerisms. He must have went to the David Prowse School of Vadering!

It's so cool to see Vader at his best, being actually powerful and ruthless (whilst sometimes slightly conflicted). We never got to see enough of this in the movies, and there is huge potential for content that goes beyond and delves into the many unanswered questions. Please keep pushing back the veil and revealing ever more - I trust that the flavour will feel consistent & cannon upheld along the way. And I must say this was all-round well executed, exciting, and shows great promise. A great future in this, I see!

Besides the costumes and acting being super super good, I actually really appreciate ANY intimate look at Vader's relationship with Sidious.

I come back to watch this probably once a year or so. I’m blown away every single time. This is absolutely incredible. So well done. Makes me so sad knowing what we could have got with the right people at the helm at Disney.

Sooo much detail was put into this- -The fact the clones haven’t been fazed out -Vader’s preference for the 501st -Anakin’s ability to have visions of the future -Vader’s Eyes turning blue -Vader’s rapid breath after Padme’s apparation by Sheev -The Clone’s voices sound like they’re from the show -Darth Vader’s customized Jedi Starfighter -The sound of Vader’s rage of Palpatine’s hand on his shoulder. -Padme’s of Love Across the Stars fading into Palpatine’s theme after Vader realizes he was tricked by him with Padme’s apparation It’s so much detail and love crafted into this, it almost got me emotional. It’s deeper than any fan fiction I’ve seen or read. Thank you SWT. You made my year.

The moment when Vader watches his younger self and padme, that shit nearly broke me. Even though it was obviously Vader on the screen, all i could see was Anakin begging to have his old life returned to him. Friedrich der Große royal guards and phase 2 clones were active at the same time. See episode 3. Venator class star destroyers were used until the common class of the empire replaced them all. This is only 8 months after the fall of the republic. Not enough time to create a whole fleet of star destroyers or completely replace clone troopers. Pay attention to the details and you will understand.

The mini gun scene is still one of my all time favorite Vader scenes, especially when compared back to back with Kylo making it seem like a big deal to catch one.

Phenomenal performance! Can’t wait for episode 2 honestly that final bit with the lightsaber ignition shocked me, the scene of him waking up looked as if you ripped it out of the movie

@BeastUpp yeah I know but this gives more force showing how truly mad Vader is. I mean, Vader is creepy because the way he gets mad in the movies is pretty much silent and brutal (and maybe with a tint of sarcasm) but if Vader gets mad like this it gives him more character (especially when he's mad about personal things) making him quite humane in certain circumstances. Pretty much reflects his more Anakin-ish nature.

I like how Palpatine acknowledges that, although he is his Master, he and Vader are very much rivals. He knows that Anakin/Vader has more than enough ability to surpass him. He knows that if Vader were to snap out of his depression, there would be nothing stopping him from destroying Palpatine. So he deflects Vader's ire by enforcing his hate of Jedi. He keeps him occupied so he has no time to heal and realize his true enemy. I love it.

Ok but, Anakin's power was so diminished with the amputation of his limbs together with his torturous suit and crippling depression means he would never be as powerful as he could have been. Probably still no match for Sidius

Palpatine himself confirmed that Vader's physical injuries aren't what hinder his powers, but his psychological problems, and if he was to finally accept what he had done and own up to his mistakes, he'd regain his vast power as the Chosen One. This was proven to be true when Vader regained much of his confidence and became one of the most powerful Sith Lords in history, and he would have been twice the power of Palpatine had he snapped out of his depression. Even at his current state, someone said it was foolish of Palpatine not to fear Vader.

Feels exactly like it, amazingly well written. I love how it eludes to his struggle becoming Vader, hinting at the fact that he still has good in him.

This is very well done! Even years after releasing this, it’s super cool to watch. Great quality.

I did not know you did this. This 12 minutes is better than the sequels put together. Thank you.

Kinda ironic how it plays out. Shows how much they truly care to embrace the heart of the stories they tell. They're more in line with their own villains than their heroism. To take something from someone else's work that loves their characters in the name of a copyright claim is shallow. It's right, in their eyes, sure. They're so good at being right they're just wrong, cruel, greedy, and all out of ideas. They couldn't even applaud the guy or credit him in some way.

It's funny. I never got into the prequel clone storm trooper style armor because the cgi made it clunky and too cartoony. But this had the right feel of realism and suddenly I'm starting to get into their look and feel. In a way, these projects might actually enhance people's appreciation for the prequels and George's over all vision.
