Same, I hope windu tips vader a new one. And Vader has to win by using a cheap shot. TBH, wjndu should be able to beat vader in a duel. But knowing the way Vader fans will react, darth vader has to win or the world might as well burn.

I was floored when I saw Windu's face. You all did such an incredible job on the model, seriously. That looks just fantastic.

If Disney copyright claim this, it means it's canon.

@d a r l i n g J o it’s important to note that the retcon does not affect any of the Jedi actively killing clones because not a single one knows that they have chips in their heads. The only Jedi who heard of the chips was Anakin, Mace taking revenge for what the Clones did to him is understandable from his point of view but we as the audience know it’s not the clones fault. It’s a tragedy all the way thru, generals being betrayed by their soldiers who were “brainwashed” into committing mass murder on their friends and allies.

This is great. I, personally, would love to see Windu return. I believe that if he survived the fall, it would have been through his own tenacity and rage at being betrayed, and that he knew he would have to change if he were to continue to survive much less do anything about things going forward. Mace has always been headstrong.

Mace Windu, surviving his downfall in Episode 3, and the Order 66, sounds great. Another great survivor, like Ahsoka, Kenobi, and Maul.

We didn’t get enough Mace Windu. I would love to see more of him, the only complication is we can assume he is dead by the time of the original trilogy and I feel it would be difficult to give him a proper send off. His supposed death in revenge of the sith preserves how much of a badass he was. I don’t realistically see him losing to Vader if he was to come back.

He had his guard down from this and got point blank electrocution and then was yeeted out a window all the while probably still disoriented from everything-he should realistically be dead…

I mean rather than provide a new youngling with hope for his own future he broke him down mentally for a first introduction and shattered his dreams to become a jedi. Anakin soldiered on ignoring their depravity and witnessed the chaos that still reigned despite the jedi council's efforts. Sloth followed by idiocy, anakin loses his mother and they did nothing about it because they were so busy with their war to sense the legitimacy of anakin's concerns for his mother and so she died. Later anakin's true goal was at first to simply keep what he had, padme and when he lost her it was about removing sloth and idiocy and chaos from the galaxy entirely. But mace was still hooked on hanging anakin on every thread of his trespasses and failures since he was 9.

@@dn_onfire You have to acknowledge Obi-Wan has a crucial impact on Anakin's change as well. He wasn't ready to become a Master after the death of Qui Jon Jinn, but it was Qui Jon Jinn's wish for Anakin to be trained and made Obi Wan feel obligated to train the young boy himself. This led to more emotional outbursts from Anakin since he believed that Obi Wan is holding him back and how much Obi Wan looked down upon Anakin in a negative manner seen throughout Attack of the Clones. Obi Wan cared for Anakin, but he made a lot of mistakes that would make Anakin become the way he is.

@@Damodred_Heiress Obi-Wan still trusted anakin, unlike Mace who always outwardly disliked and distrusted him. If Mace had allowed Anakin to become a Jedi Master, Anakin would have begun to trust the council more and make the right choice when it came to arresting the chancellor.

Really nice style. One thing I wish we got more of was the surviving jedi constantly being hunted down and killed. What was left of the clones would hunt them, with Vader turning up to finish the job making it look easy. I like the idea of Mace Windu surviving but he should be missing a hand. Love the idea of temple remains. Hidden chambers. A real fear dark tone. Love the tone of all this. Good job.

Had to come back and watch this again. So much better than Disney product

It’s crazy to me that Star Wars/Disney have soooo many ways they could go for movies or tv. They have characters that people would watch no matter what. Vader, windu, maul, the clones, palppy, cal, any of the old republic characters and so on. I really hope they have a big 10-15 year plan like marvel did.

Yeah it was, but why did Mace toy with the last guy? Seems kind of pointless. 1:39... He waited almost 30 seconds to take down the last one....? Why? Ruins the whole clip imo.... Also could have had little more action showcasing Mace instead of cheap flashes. visual quality is top notch though.

one exception for an official work, the amount of screen cutting for the action sequences are not the style Disney usually likes to use. Regardless its well crafted.

Just something about seeing that purple lightsaber jump out of the shadows. Star Wars fans deserve so much better when a fan film looks this cool.

Wish we got to see the fight! But overall it was amazing! Congrats to you and the team at SWT. Keep up the good work! 👏🏻👊🏻

I really like how this is during the Dark Times when the Jedi were hunted down by the Empire. But this paints a whole different reality to it, where the few jedi left would be on their guard and more dangerous than ever. 👍 " This will be a day Long remembered."

I think it was purposely made that way. Just like the cinematic trailers. I actually prefer this to live action because there's a certain level of intensity, speed, etc that isn't possible with live action.

They never used real armour for clones, they were always cgi in the movies, so this is technically more realistic

I'm so glad I caught this so soon after it was released. I didn't even know part 2 was coming so soon. Because the clonetroopers were CGI, that means they're just as real in this fan film as they were in ATOC and ROTS.

the funny thing is considering what maul survived from, mace windu surviving that fall is 10 times easier, i mean maul was sliced literally in half before thrown at least a couple hundred meters down a reactor or whatever that hole was. Mace only received force lighting and then pushed out of the window with the force.

I do believe the fall to the ground was two miles with how high the senators building was, plus the traffic on the way down. I think maul might have had it easier with the ability to tap into the dark side of the force

I always thought that if windu survived he would channel more of his dark side. I think that was portrayed pretty well here, with his darker robes and using fear as a weapon.
