I have a friend who got covid before he got the vaccine and god damn am I glad that the vaccine exists. I got done with it in a few days (had had 2 shots at that moment), while he was down for 2 weeks basically incapacitated. However it's because I've seen grown adults actually believing stuff similarly to children, like you stated, but it's not just from the internet. Me seeing this foolishness as a child made me question my mother on 2 things I couldn't understand. 1. Why do people believe the weather man. Last week he said it was gonna rain all week and we didn't see a drop of rain. 2. Why do people watch the news when they don't talk about anything that's actually important. I believe she told me to shut up on both fronts because they were things she actively did and still does, although now she's more wary of the lies. Needless to say however I've continued to notice patterns like this because of the internet. That's basically what I was getting at with my comment. Sorry if it's a bit convoluted or confusing, my mind gets a lil jumbled sometimes.
