I'm a big fan of the idea that almost any experience is effectively universal, and that a failure to relate is almost exclusively a product of willful disregard. I may not know what an unbalanced bra is like, but everyone has experienced something or other being unbalanced and the discomfort that imposes. Similarly, we all have experienced taking off some article of clothing that contains or applies pressure to parts of our bodies after having worn them for an extended period. An easy example in both cases are socks and/or shoes.

@@lilkittygirl because a lot of males don’t know how much a bra costs! $50 sounds like one of the bigger sizes to me (used to sell bras). And once you get bigger than a B-cup, the prices climb rather quickly. If you’ve got small boobs, bras aren’t as much. But if you’re really little (my sis) they get expensive again because they have to be specially ordered. Seriously, how does one manage with a 29” ribcage??

Watching Mike's face during the salt bush part and seeing him get increasingly annoyed had me dying.

I absolutely hate how many millions of people believe the hacks on 5-Minute Crafts work. So many people do them and believe it works because something happens to change. They need to be stopped, or at least put warnings on them saying that there is no actual evidence that these work. They are so obviously rubbish yet people are so easily convinced.

I'm so glad my parents never broke my trust by like, hiding medicine or whatever. We (my brother and I) were basically just told straight up "It tastes gross, I know. But it'll make you feel better. A bit of yuck for a lot of relief, okay?" Knew exactly what I was going to get, and why. And if the medicine was TOO gross for me to stand, they tried a different flavor. (For example, honey-flavored medicine made me retch just from the smell), so we went with cherry. Still disgusting, but tolerable. Just be honest with your kids and they'll return the favor.

4:12 when I was younger, I was afraid of shots, so my mom would say “after the shot we can go and get ice cream, okay?” Worked every time win-win situation cause my mom would get ice cream for herself, too.

To be fair, with the Coca-Cola thing, a nurse did that with me as a kid. I was in the ER, scared like any 3 year old would be, and the nurse asked me if I wanted a coke. Naturally, I said OK. The nurse brilliantly had put the dosage into the soda and being typical 3 year old, I drank it down. It was a win/win. She got the meds in me and did so without freaking me out further.

See if I was a kid and had a bad sickness where I had to go to the hospital if the nurse asked me if I wanted a coke I would say no bc I’m not dumb and I know that coke is not medicine.

@@tempestates13 This was actually more likely something help stablize me. It wasn't some upset stomach, I'd actually passed out. When I came to, I remember being in the hospital, with my mother and my aunt worried, which worried me. So, to get the meds in me the nursing staff did what they had to do and got sneaky.

The sharp edges on the coke can would worry me as well as the dosage.

The passion Dr. Mike had about the bra is just soooo funny 😂 the fact that the man is aware that bras cost a stupid amount of money, I love it .😂

Good thing nobody sprayed pepper spray on their food to make it spicier.

The pharmacy I used to work at sold needles and syringes without verifying your rx. You vould walk up and be like "I need 14 1 inch 18 gauge needles" and none of the techs or RPh would question you.

Oh my goodness I laughed so hard this was the best.

I laughed so hard at the “just use ice” like it’s a mind blowing discovery to go get ice. Haha great job

The fact that Dr. Mike knows how expensive bras are!!! lol saving lives out here 🤣

When I worked at Starbucks my hands would get sooo dry from all the hand washing and dish washing and it's against health code to use lotion so I absolutely used the whipped cream. It worked so well!

The ‘salt bush’ remedy @2:04 totally cracked me up! If relieving back pain was that easy so many people would be happy!

There are things where warmth can ease the pain. But it doesn't need a salt bush, just use a how water bottle or a warm gel pack. And usually it's warmth for muscles and cold for joints. But anything that lats for a while warrants a visit to the doc, because there might be some underlying issue.

I think that is supposed to be a bad diy idea for a hot water bottle. Or these gel packs. And having one of them is useful anyway. They can go warm or cold, depending on what you need. Like for that wet towel for headaches. If your headaches get better from cooling, use the gelp pack cold.

5 min crafts might as well make one like Dead? Well just put I dunno some sugar on you hand and then do 12 pushups with you dead corpse and you should have no pain, even though you are dead. Here a fun one I thought of: Did you get a pice of glass stuck in you leg? Well just drill from the other side of the wound and take out the glass. Bleeding by the leg because of the massive hole you created? Just wrap a bandage on you hand. Are you dead? Well subscribe for more videos!

The best part is that the real solution Mike tells us is actually easier and less time to do than the 5min Crafts way.

A funny realisation to me is the bush and salt in a bag, they tried to use cooking salt as Epson salt AND THEN STUFFED IT IN A CLOTHE IM DYING XD

05:42 Fun fact!! The flannel/towel will Absorb the water and make you all wet. Headaches are usually caused by dehydration. The LITERALLY could of just drank the water!!

Correction on the banana peel: leave it on and trust me, it WILL do something… not heal the frostbite, though. My mom tried banana peel for a wart once overnight, and woke up with a chemical burn! Also, the lemon may not work for the rash, but it did remove the Elmer’s glue from that heel… 😂

Well there are really some use of it and i think Doctor only suggest that generally there are lots of causes of these things that may be only a symptom of disease. I also do some Diy but mostly i experiment it or experience it so theres still some possibility it may not work to others.

@@g.strobl4458 Pesticides used on food generally don't have a high enough concentration and are too volatile to remain on plants all the way through shipping and sale. Additionally a pesticide generally can't be a strong base or acid or it would damage the plant. A chemical burn or irritation is more likely to result from the chemicals produced in plants than the ones put on them.

I love how heated Dr. Mike gets on this.🤣 I feel less alone for being frustrated about dumb advice on the internet.

That glass on the head trick is a method to cool off without getting soaked. They do it down south. Never done it but seen older folks do it.

Yeah, I was thinking it might kind of mimic a cool compress. If she had light sensitivity, then put the rash in her head might have helped, too.
