The time and money between machine shops and rebuild parts cost more than a remanufactured engine. The biggest thing is knowing what to look for when using a junkyard engine.

@Macks MR2's (especially SW20's i.e. the model in this video) are very much a "cockpit" feel, you are quite literally surrounded quite closely by "the car", i.e., the big hump/centre consul in the interior is actually where the fuel tank is, for front/rear balance/ideal weight distribution purposes.... I'm 6'4" & own a hardtop ( i.e. no sun roof/s ) & I'm a snug ass fit - i use the maximum seat rearwards travel but I'm perfectly comfortable once I'm in. I have worked out a technique of getting in as even the O.E.M seats had reasonably big ( for an O.E.M seat) side bolsters ( adjustable!!!) most aftermarket seats are, - really a bit too big 4 MR's. Some "Bride" models fit O.K. The O.E.M seats are already pretty much on the floor & are at the sill level.... = lower centre of gravity = better cornering ability... If you ever get to look in the "Frunk" (front trunk) check out the battery location - as low as possible.... Excellent design ideas off of the drawing board....

I cannot believe the way you guys handled this. Will be buying as much as my merchandise from Throtl now. Granted it doesn't look like you guys sell much for built Pontiac Solstices but no fear, ill find some way to support! I'm early in my build and plan a forced induction 1jz swap within the next few years so i will certainly support! Cheers! Side note, not many companys do not sell pontiac solstice merch cause its not the typical build/project car but that's why im challenging myself.

You serious? how they handled this? Its KZread and their reputation is on the line, its not like they are going to say on camera, well you drive it, you break it, its your problem, geeze, its all for show.

@@TN_AU LOL, they could have easily just not recorded them giving it away, they never had to help the guy, or fix the car. Its a giveaway, AS IS. But they went above and beyond anyways. Stop living you're life trying to find the negatives of others and start fixing your own. You might start enjoying it more...

I'm glad y'all didn't blame the customer for the misfortune. Nowadays, nobody wants to claim the problem and be responsible for nuthin'! Glad you're doing RIGHT by the customer.👍
