My son and I are so jacked to get the Lexus back to MN! Huge shout out to Evan and the entire Throtl team for knocking it out of the park!! A fellow motor enthusiast here. My grandfather owned a classic car restoration & dealership when I was a kid, so I grew up around all the classic 50s-70s cars, esp of the muscle variety. I didnt have a chance growing up around that much HP... haha I just recently found your channel, and as a professional perfectionist in the field of quantitative strategy development, I absolutely love your attention to every detail, to leave not bolt unturned, and doing rebuilds or upgrades the right way. Producing some kick-ass content in the process. For someone whos also a workaholic and has something always playing in the background while Im developing new trading & investing models for institutional clients, its great to have interesting content, and diversify a bit from music. Kind of a lateral trade, the BMW is nice but the is300 will always be more reliable even if it is old. Another simple upgrade to the is300 would be ls400 front brake calipers, cheap and easy front big brake kit.

I'd get rid of that BMW for that Lexus in a heartbeat as well.

I missed the is300 and was thrilled to see an update on it. Now im hyped on this series and think it's an amazing idea. Can't wait for more videos.

“Reputable” shop plus outside BMW tech said it’s blown due to poorly executed Oil filter housing gasket replacement where they didn’t bleed the System properly. So either two different sources lied to me or the main bearing spun and spit metal shavings into the oil. We will see

At this point the Throtl logo should just be Floral Yellow instead of orange

Did this with jetskis a few years ago, bought a beater with a ton of great parts and sold off all the parts. Rinse and repeat until I got the jetski I wanted.

I love these cars one of the best cars Lexus ever brought over especially the manual transmission in my opinion. I’ve had three wagons.

I totalled my is300 and regret selling it instead of fixing it ... But a Ferrari yes plz! Not a fan of BMWs unless they're an M

It is a priceless experience for us both! What most people don’t know is that Evan sent out a care package to my son last year when he was hit by a delivery truck on his dirt bike. So we have been watching for years and the team at Throtl are truly amazing!
