0:42 Back lifting trophies! Brings us back to old times! She believes next month!
1:04 Brazil is always a tough opponent
1:15 Least exciting game in the last few matches! No Water World WWE lol
1:38 Lindey scored the game winner! Alyssa Naeher! Looking and playing great! Golden glove!
1:58 Alyssa facts!! She killed it! She has even more fans lol
2:19 There had been so much sadness over the last year and throughout Vlatko's years. He didn't do great but he also had a bunch of pressure beyond coaching
3:00 Ruesha and Lucy on their podcast said that some of the spots on the USWNT were never in question. They were always going to certain players no matter what. Vlatko couldn't even veto them if he wanted
3:33 US soccer finally got the memo that we can lose
3:48 Vlakto was a wild coach who made wild decisions
4:00 Playing well against all those top teams is great to see!
4:20 Korbin Albert and others you know these names now!
4:43 The ref at the final I was kinda worried lol
5:06 Ref talk is always hot. Always going to be a conversation
5:19 Ref was more favorable to Brazil? Funny meme lol
5:50 Will be biased. Uswnt dirty tactics? Calls did get better at the end
6:30 Lynn offside goal. Psych out whistle at the end lol
7:11 Snapdragon Stadium is not a great pitch. Pinoe tore her achilles there!
Bermuda grass a problem!?

8:17 They were so pumped! Helps with mental state!
8:45 USWNT will never dominate like they once did??
9:14 USWNT won't have that pressure at the Olympics
9:32 Let's talk Sam Kerr
9:50 A lot of divided opinions
10:18 If you don't want to be a fan of Sam Kerr anymore that is ok!!
10:40 But to be charged and go to prison for 2 years!!! That isn't right
11:00 I saw another commentator talking about this. But the reason the Crown Prosecutor didn't charge her was because they couldn't agree on a charge that would stick. Fishy stuff
11:53 Let's talk about the name of the officer who arrested Sam
12:22 Was this cop fired for a sex scandal?
12:45 UPDATE I DON'T KNOW IF THIS IS THE SAME OFFICER? IT COULD BE? ANYONE KNOW IF IT OFFICIALLY IS?
14:28 They have the same last name.. There are a lot of shady cops out there
14:50 It's okay not to be a Sam Kerr fan but 2 YEARS!?

I'm from the UK, pretty sure we do not release body cam footage from active cases. Could be released months/years after the case is closed. The general public are not as involved in active criminal cases as they may be in the US.

There has to be recording of it. Otherwise they wouldn’t bring the case. Sam Kerr’s argument could be she didn’t remember what she said because she was sick or drunk…But that’s what happened to a lot of VIP with “do you know who I am” moments until it goes global then they realize it was a stupid move.

As a Canadian, I am not over that water game yet. No is going to convince me that playing in those conditions is going to determine who is the better team. That first goal for the US only happened because of the terrible field conditions.

I still admire Sam Kerr as one of the greatest female footballers but my view of her as a person has dimmed considerably. Sure, if she said 'stupid white' cop she deserves to be sentenced by law, but jail time for this offence would be a ridiculous over-punishment and I really don't believe that will happen. The USWNT has not suddenly become a bad team over the last few years, but the European teams have caught up. Vlatko was a poor coach, but there is still an abundance of players vying for every position. They weren't convincing in the Gold Cup but I expect Emma Hayes will knock the squad into shape when she arrives, as she's one of the best coaches in the world.

Yeah, no way a Police Officer from Somerset could be working in London. It's like 4 or 5 hours away most days, despite what journey time indicates. Perhaps it's best not to listen to random comments on articles/social media/KZread. Also the CPS in the UK never release evidence prior to trials and often don't for years afterwards. They also are known for taking a long time to decide on cases, especially high profile ones. This isn't unusual and some comments are trying to indicate. I'd also say it is near impossible Kerr would get prison time if found guilty.

What's the timeline for the revenge porn incident to the incident now? Could he have been fired from London and then moved down to work in Somerset- perhaps he could not find work in London after the case? I know in the US there are a lot of problems with the police and it's not uncommon for officers to move precincts or even states if something comes up in order to keep working as a cop. Could it be the same here?

Hello Sara and Sarah. Well done USA. Commiserations Canada after the way that semi went. I read Brazil had zero shots on target in the final. It reminded me of losing a golf game by a point to the host, your boss, from watching "The Wonder Years". Sorry, but they were a guest team and I could not help it popping into my head. In turn, this made me think that being charged is not the same as being found guilty.

Emma Hayes came out with some controversial views on player partnerships within the same team recently, saying player to player relationships are inappropriate and hopefully won't exist in the future. I found her comments a little puzzling, as she's normally very protective of her players and Berger/Carter are in a relationship at her club. Harder and Eriksson were also a power couple at Chelsea for years and it seems to be fairly normal for clubs and even national teams to have couples in the same team. Postscript: Hayes has admitted that she let herself down by using the word 'inappropriate' following a backlash over her comments.

Great to see the USWNT win a tournament again! Seems that my theory that the loss against Mexico, which helped the USWNT to avoid playing Brazil prior to the final, actually worked. Awsome performances by Naeher and the talents of Shaw and Nighswonger make the USWNT be in contention of bving able to win at the Olympic Games. A huge help will also be the return of Macario, who made an excellent comeback to pitch for Chelsea. I dont want to make any speculations in the Kerr case, but I doubt that there be jail time at stake. If Kerr was to be convicted, there will mostly be a fine.

ref for the GC final was doing a good job up until like the 80th minute. A combination of Brazil dialing up the play-acting and the ref, who I'm sure had orders from CONCACAF to try and take the game into extra time. The USWNT were deserving winners for the way they withstood all of that. Nothing more to say about the Sam Kerr case, other than: the people who disliked Sam to begin with now have all the ammunition they need to justify (in their minds) why they don't like her.

Thinking back to the World Cup, vlatko ruined our lives. That is, of course, my opinion, and I could also be overly dramatic. Even if we speculate that the coach had nothing to do with the roster choices. Personally, I guess it'll take a while to repair the damage he did to the uswnt. I stayed up very late and/or woke up very early to watch their games. He let the fans down so much, and I remember when he first took over, that I believed in him and thought he had a chance to make us a force again. Well, I'll never forgive him.😅 As for the players, I don't know what happened or where the tough, gritty, down to business players went. We are a number one world class team, and seeing us lose more often is slowly killing me. There are no more Hamm's to Wambach's to Rapinoe/Morgan's any more. Where did the flow go? Anyways, that's my lil rant. I loved the performance the uswnt had this tournament, but it could've been stronger and more confident. Looks like more winning could be predicted as the months go on, hopefully for the SheBelieves Cup as well. I can't wait to see what Emma has in store for us. Maybe she'll see a roster that fits. Hope Macario, Swanson, Fishel can make it back. Props to Twila doing what she could as interim manager. And of course, I do have to complement the other teams for improving their players and skills. I love seeing the womens game evolve and become more competitive.

Congrats on winning the Gold Cup! It looks like a great competition and it can only be a good thing to have such a prestigious tournament- we in Europe have the Euros which is as big as the World Cup in some ways, and far more important than the Olympics, which is a 'fun' tournament ( or no fun if, like England, you didn't qualify!😭). As for Sam Kerr? I worked fir years for the RRB ( Race Relations Board) and she is not the first, by a long way, to be charged for using the term 'White' as a pejorative term. No one knows what happened yet, but it does make you wonder whether someone who is angry/dumb enough to call a Cop a "Stupid White Bastard", might have been just as capable of replacing the word 'White' with 'Black', had the policeman been black?? I mean honestly, seriously, could any of person who considers themselves to be utterly non-racist EVER think of using someone's colour as an insult against them? I know I wouldn't.. More importantly, or as important anyway. As my just-9 year old ( Sam Kerr loving) girl said, aghast: " ..and she called a policeman a "Stupid B..." mummy! No wonder she got arrested?! 😔" Not big and not clever of Kerr to be setting this kind of example to her young fans, sigh.

The police in England do have a history of inventing incidents and charging people with them, just because they’re upset that the person wouldn’t cooperate with them. It was easier for them in the past, before bodycams, because when it was a case of someone’s word against a police officer’s word, the court would always believe the police. I know people who have been charged with a completely invented crime just because the police were upset that they wouldn’t cooperate and give a statement against someone else. That doesn’t necessarily mean that’s the case with Sam Kerr, but the fact that the incident was caught on bodycam, yet it’s taken them more than a year to even come up with a charge does sound suspicious. It could be that the PC involved was angry with Sam and wants to hurt her as much as possible and has taken this time working out how to manipulate the imagery to cause her maximum pain. If it all happened as the PC said, it’s on camera so it’s quite a simple case, the judge or jury just need to watch what happened, listen to the comments on the film from either side and decide if the charge is justified. But if the police start coming up with excuses or don’t have the clear evidence, then it’s very likely a malicious charge, brought just to try to harm her.
