The Greatest of them all....There will never ever be another Khan Sahib Mehdi Hassan.. I miss him so very much. Ghazal is lonely without him. May Allah rest his soul in peace.

Evergreen ghazal echoed from the depths of ocean of pain..

This version of Ranjish hi sahi is special particularly because of two things. One, Ustad ji has used sargam ni two Shers. Another is, in one of the sher where he uses sargam, he uses Komal Ni instead of regular Ni ( unlike in Raag Yaman Kalyan ). That's amazing to listen. And the gamaks he did are also different, feels like he was in full mood for this gazal at this program. Totally blessed to hear 🙏 Thank you for uploading.
