Sonu Nigam sang it so well. Too much gaayki and taan spoil the mood and feel of the ghazal. Sonu was the most natural.

Sonu ji, shankar ji and Shreya ji teeno ne bahut acha gaya but Sonu ji kept the originality and feel of the ghazal clearly he is the winner 🙏

Talaat Aziz ?He tries every show of his , I have heard him closely too . Most of the time he keeps on playing the harmonium ! Not this most tuff ghazal of his Idol ! This evergreen ghazal was created only for Khan Sb . The legend of all legends ! Period .

Versatile singer Sonu Nigam is real king of melody, not Kumar Sanu

None of the others nailed it like Shreya did. She is just enchanting 🥺🌈🌟

Ali Sethi was auto tune plus all instruments applied to make the voice sound good. Above video shows all artists either performing live or at home. Since Late Mehendi Hasan Sahab mastered this ghazal we rank him number one otherwise it’s difficult to confidently declare someone number 2. They’re all good including Sethi.

I listened Sonu Nigam's version in loop ,I wish he could have sung complete song , it was really a magical and Soulful tribute to Legend Mehdi Hassan.

Jubin nahi gaa sakta iss type ka geet. Yeh geet gaana koi khel nahi hai. So nice singing by SM but my always favorite Sonu ji.

World famous ghazal sung by Ustad Mehdi Hasan. This famous ghazal by great Urdu Poet Ahmad Faraz, was composed by the greatest Music Director of Pakistan NISAR BAZMI for Pakistani film MOHABBAT 1972 . Most of the credit goes to Nisar Bazmi who made such a fantastic tune.

Sonu Nigam legend ka comparision is generation ke singers se comparision hi nahi. He is great and greatest.

shreya, sonu and shankar all are masters but shreya ghoshal is singing her heart out in that scale which is insane, and the emotions conveyed is unmatched.. literally a queen.

All playback singers have mastered there own way of singing and the craft. Thats why they way unique style of singing the same song. Lets give them there due respect. 🙏🙏😊

Haa bhai jubin chhor ke sbne bahot achha gaya shankar sir jo gaye usme therao aur harkat jyada hai toh pehle unko aana chahiye

All are good and 👏👏 but original is original.

Sonu g nailing it as always, Shankar Mahadevan also sang well, not much surprised to listen what Jubin sang but Shreya g's version? Was expecting more conviction from her. It clearly shows how much ahead Sonu g is from the rest.

Zubin has a good voice texture but skill inti nahi hai. I saw his live performance. He couldn't sing his own songs well. He was going out of sur in places. Was not able to stretch high and long notes very well.

No one can come close to Khan Saheb. He sang effortlessly did justice to the lyrics which touched the core of the hearts. Soni Nigam could have created the magic if given the right ambience.
