More neuro anatomy! In this video, we'll go over the internal neuroanatomy and the internal structures found in the brain. We will start out talk with the hypothalamus, which you know plays a role in our endocrine regulation and pituitary, but ALSO plays a role in drive! We will talk about the anterior, posterior, medial, lateral and suprachiasmatic nucleus and their roles.
Next we'll go to the thalamus. Again, we'll divide the thalamus up into it's functional groups and see what role each one plays.
And last but not least is a group of structures we call the limbic system. Guess what? We'll do the exact same thing - dividing the limbic system up and discussing their roles, as well as what pathology may be seen if there are lesions.

Nice videos. Just a correction hyperorality in kluver bucy is not defined as excess of unwanted speech but it is known as "an oral tendency, or compulsion to examine objects by mouth".

Hi total shot in the dark since I doubt you check these comments anymore... you mentioned endocrine block but I can't find any videos or notes from your packets. Where would I be able to find that? Thank you for all the videos and notes. I'm a dental student studying for CBSE to become an oral surgeon and your videos is my savior as our science background is pretty weak in dental school
