Great! just start small is my best advice. Also read the directions on the resin you choose not all resins are the same.

beautiful!!! I use droppers i ordered from amazon fir the resin especially in tight spaces . The droppers work great.

Thats a good idea, you are probably able to control the amount of resin you put on it better. Are you able to reuse or do you have to toss after every project?

Linda when you run out of the uv resin tape just replace it with clear packing tape from the dollar store. It works just as good and much cheaper.

Oh I am just reading this after I gave you a link to the wide roll of resin tape. so the the dollar tree tape? is it clear tape? good to know I thought this resin tape was something special LOL

This is gorgeous! Just beautiful! I agree with you about the bubbles in Jdiction. I only have the 4 hour curing resin but the bubbles!! I don’t think I’ll be getting it again.

They say it “cures” in 4 but then they say demold in 8. I think it’s like all the rest, it depends on the temperature outside, etc. It may be worth it for you to try it since you’re in warmer weather than I am here. This may be a resin I can only use during our summer heat. I can’t get any of their other resins here. Plus it’s much more expensive here than it is for you guys. I can get a better price with the icoat resin. And it works really well.

Love love love the 3-D effect with the layering of the petals oh just beautiful! Is the JDiction resin a bit thicker on the pour? Does it set faster than Art resin? Thank you awesome piece!!!

So yes I think its a little thicker than Art Resin. It still has a 40 min work time but sets up faster. It says you can demold in 4 hours. Which to me means you could touch it but I think it is too sticky at 4 hours more like 6-8 hours. It is suppose to be totally cured at 24 hours but i find it is still pliable at that time. I hour that makes sense

@@crazyglasslady made tall leaves for flowers like you showed us. Tumbled great in the bumble bee tumbler bc it has a long canister. I have some art glass that I’ll have to grind to retain the bubbles pattern instead of tumble Found red glass that kinda looked like a shade. Able to get lots of heart shapes ( also like you showed us 😊) out of it. Still have to grind That time of year there’s so much outdoor cleanup, window washing, tree cutting 🥴 no time for crafting 😭

I noticed you were assembling the flowers on a mat. Is that a silicone mat? Does the resin release well from that kind of mat

Yes, that is a silicone mat and I failed to mention that in the video it’s very important that you work on the silicone mat. Resin will not stick to silicone. That’s what the molds are made out of.

@@tammyhiller1821 you may need to watch again but I show you the bottom row is flat I make a circle and then put uv resin on that and fuse it together then I start the second layer which is at an angle one piece at a time hold it up a little put a drop of resin on it and as you are still holding the piece of glass use the other hand to put the uv light on it . you do this for every piece of the second row go around in a circle.then you do the same thing with the 3rd row only more of an angle another words straighter and go all the way around one at a time. I hope that helps
