Excellent video! So nice to see people who take the time to explain all the details rather than videos who 'assume you know' all this stuff. This will be very helpful to me and tons of other folks. Keep it up!

So mold max is a pourable silicone and wouldn’t be ideal for a the first couple layers of a brush on application. It’s also tin cured compared to mold Star which is platinum cured. It’s still a great product, and very helpful in making poured molds. www.smooth-on.com/support/faq/184/

Mold Max Stroke is one. It's a tin cure silicone, made by smooth-on as well. It's also measured out by weight so you'll want a scale for best results. But it's about half the price of a platinum silicone like rebound. theengineerguy.com/mold-max-stroke/

You can it will just take a while, because the layers will be thin. Thivex just thickens the silicone so you don’t have to do as many thin layers.
