If you are worried about rail space there is another version called the rattler canebrake. It’s the same exact gun and barrel length but it comes with a longer hand rail that can go over the suppressor and it actually is wide enough where you can still use the mlok mounts over the suppressor unlike the honey badger. It also comes with a fake suppressor that lets you use the gun while your suppressor is in paperwork jail.

Definitely would find an updated 300 blk vs 556 breakdown useful. Still don't confidently know what each are delivering on target at various ranges & brl lengths.
@vicdiaz5180
10 ай бұрын
The 5.56 is going to deliver much more penetration, range, and very decent tissue damage due to its velocity The 300BLK on the other hand is not meant for range, so it is going to do lots of tissue damage at a closer range, the 5.56 will also deliver lots of tissue damage at a closer range due to its velocity out of the muzzle. The 300BLK will also start losing velocity very quickly as soon as it leaves the muzzle due to the lack of powder pushing a 30cal heavier grain bullet. So it would be interesting to see both, but I predict the 5.56 will triumph. If I may add the 5.56 is cheaper and readily available

With my 130 gr varmint bullets, it is almost 200 yards for the same zero. For the 85 gr bullets, it is almost 300 yards. Bullet trajectories start below point of aim at the muzzle because the sight is above it. Then it rises to point of aim at whatever you decide, goes up above the line of sight until it crests and starts to come back down. It crosses the far zero point and keeps heading down below.

Word of advice for traversing the internet, never tell people your age or location or any identifiable information
What a beautiful piece of equipment. The Rattler is probably my favorite PDW.
Map festival? Hah, is this a first lieutenant joke? Oh. Ohhhhhhhhhhh.
I would love to have one for home defense. Absolutely awesome video. 🤘🤘🤘
Came for cool snake themed ar-18, stayed for last minute life lesson
Thank you for what you do. Can’t afford firearms right now but man I love the reviews and content. Best gun channel.

You can't afford not to buy firearms. You also live in a time where quality firearms have never been as accessible. Not everything has to be a $2,000+ military rifle.
Thanks for all your awesome content Mike. I really appreciate and enjoy these videos. I get down sometimes and they make me feel better. Thank you.
“7.62x39 version for all that spooky shit” Im sorry but that had me dying.😂
Are we going to do ballistic comparisons with 300 blackout on fancy gel torsos? Cuz now I'm curious.. I'd always heard tails but I think it's being interesting thing to see and make a point about especially regarding short barrel weapons.

From what I've seen, 300 blackout actually has insane penetrative properties. Despite being subsonic.
The new videos are great, I love what you have done with the platform you have built over these years. But man these videos of you telling us about guns is nostalgia.

I really don’t like newer Garand Thumb. This was his best video in quite some time.
Hell yeah, finally some rattler action. Love me my canebrake!
Yes, that intro... best to date. Felt it! Awesome work, fellow dad.
The best comparison is the 9 x 19mm HK- MP-5SD commonly used in the past by spec Ops units. Often for hostage rescue. The 300BO excedes 9mm by far. Rattler is one of the best compact 300BO platforms. 300BO has become an unofficial standard which makes guns, options and ammo available. And compatible with AR-15 platforms. There are other alternatives, but not so commonly available. The 300BO hits the sweet spot with AR compatibility, with sub and super performance. Longer weapons can improve performance. The Sig Rattler has the folding stock option that traditional ARs lack.
The most based and important dad advice from Mr. Thumb yet.

Way too many parents these days care about being "cool" with their kid. You're never going to be "cool" so why not try to be a good parent instead.
I use the sig titanium 10" suppressor on mine - I swear it's way quieter than what is coming through in your video... you should do a short or something on trying to make it as quite as possible. I wonder what it would be like with a wiped suppressor?
Me and my friends play a game where we stand in front of the 50 yard target and jump out of the way when we hear the Blackout go off. The ding of that round hitting the steel we just vacated is so satisfying. Literally dodging bullets.
I have the rattler canebreak, which seems identical, except longer handguard, and some other trigger. While I appreciate the extra hand/mount realestate, it makes the gun heavier. goona order the shorter ratler guard and play with it.
Man when are y’all going to do a full length war movie. I swear that your action sequences are on par with any of the big blockbusters. My heart pounds and thumps as I watch your intros only wishing it wouldn’t end so soon. Please work your way into a full 2 1/2 hour movie! The experience you and your friends have would be enough to achieve such a fantastic experience for all your fans and movie goers alike. It’s time!!
I thought Charlie was the only Micah clone! This is getting interesting! I think we need a TF69 lore update about your little clone army of cameramen, bravely following the task force into danger across timelines to record their missions for strategic and historic purposes!
Cool gun and great dad advice 👍🏽
I like my MCX Virtus IMO. Cut the barrel down to 6inches , added Midwest stock have the SRD762ti and it shoots great.
Thanking you configuring with a shorter suppressor. I've been looking for an example of this all over the web and no better tester than GT (also good side note on 7.62 variant, I need one of those now).
I love my Rattler Canebrake. Such a nice weapon system!
my favourite gun thx garand thumb
