The US embassy should be proactively seeking this person to help this man and send him on his way to the US. Over $100 Billion of tax payer funds to Ukraine, more billions for illegal immigrants but cannot help a US citizen and veteran. I dont care what it takes, the US government is capable of making mountains move if they want to.. Pathetic.

@@harrydatrannychaserloc9245 unfortunately, even despite nationality, we are all still human and possess similar weaknesses. Everyone can’t handle recreational drug use. They get sucked in and it just becomes harder and harder for them to say no. Not all of us have had the experience on how to move in certain environments. There aren’t many places in the States like Medellin. MAYBE Miami, but even then there is still a lot more structure and red tape to keep people safe. The thing is that drugs in Medellin are so cheap, so the availability and sheer attainability of these things can really wrap people up in these horrific situations. It’s super sad to see, no matter who it is or where they are. We need to help our people because a lot of the locals won’t. A lot of Paisas view Americans as an invasive species who have raised their rents and perpetuate a negative image on their city. They would rather watch these men die than offer them anything.

so is he being held by immigration ? is the absence of a passport the reason why he's not being sent back to the US? if so what are we supposed to do that the US embassy can't do ? none of us can give him a passport !! and does this mean i can masturbate in public and get caught stealing but won't get deported if i say i don't have a passport? i'm a bit confused on how we can help ??

I imagine that part of the problem is that the embassy is in Bogota and he’s lost everything and is stuck in Medellin with no money or means of contact

I see him all the time it's no way he will be allowed on a commercial flight in the mental condition he's in.

It's pathetic you will see more of these foreigners since Colombia is being promoted by travel circles the most. Colombia was better off without these weirdos. It's hilarious tourist and new travelers believe Americans bring money to Colombia now you have homeless druggies going

I'm attempting to find his family. He'll be easy to find. I think only his family can help him get home. That's the level of support and influence I think he needs

No the woman is attempting to stop gringos from ruining her precious barrio. She failed to mention all the locals that masterbate on the buses in front of passengers and take pisses in the middle of traffic daytime. Her precious barrio provenza will be forever ruined by this gringo. She also failed to mention all the local homeless sleeping under bridges or the sniffing glue out of paper bags cheap drug problem plaguing the city.

Hey Rob, I live in Medellín. I will pay for his airfare to Bogotá as well as a round trip ticket for his escort. The US Embassy can send him back to California.

Thanks much brother. You're actually the second good brother to offer that. MUCH thanks. I don't think anyone can talk him in to accepting help. I believe we need to find his family. That's my first goal. The government is saying that they can't do anything unless he asks for help.
