The James Webb Space Telescope has captured amazing new imagery of Uranus along with its rings and moons. The footage was captured on Feb. 6, 2023 and shows the moons Titania, Miranda, Ariel, Umbriel and Puck. Full Story: www.space.com/james-webb-spac...

    Wonder if the sun creates a prism or some other light refracting form shining through that. If it does, could it land on another planet and create a flower shape or causes something to grow to mimic it in some way. I say possible but it might be so far out that it's not capturable

    Interesting how it's flipped on its side. I believe this happened when there was a major collision and it was struck. The asteroid belt is made up of pieces of planets and moons that collided and also formed rings because the planet captured it in orbit.

    Jupiter: i’ve got rings but they’re just hard to see Neptune: me too i have rings they’re a little hard to see aswell Uranus: I have Rings aswell but they’re more visible Saturn: i have the best rings then you 3 Earth(2371): rings? No..i’ve got Satellites as Rings rather then Dusts or Ice

    Because stars are much bigger and brighter than planets. Imagine looking at mountains 20 miles away. They are easy to spot and you can see some details. Then imagine looking at ant 5 meters away. It's much closer, but you can't see it.

    Because stars are enormous bodies that are literal fusion balls… the amount of light, especially IR which JWST sees, that they emit is enormous compared to a planet which is cold and small. Also what do you mean by “better res/picture”…? All photos of stars are essentially just points of light. Clearly this photo is much more than that…
