If not this episode of Organic Keralam will let you explore the ways of upland paddy farming. Let’s see how Mr Mohammad, a farmer from Palakkad successfully carried out upland farming. Upland rice is grown in rain fed, naturally well-drained soils with bunded or unbunded fields without surface water accumulation.
Upland paddy cultivation is quite different from normal paddy cultivation. Here, Mr Mohammad shares with us the experiences that led him to become a successful upland paddy farmer.

True words, if we work in the field then it will be profitable. The labour cost is high in Kerala. Machanisation is the only solution in farming to make it profitable.
