Almost 47 years ago , I was just a high school graduate and danced at that night ceremony. We were so excited to see her majesty Queen Elizabeth II closely. I had no contact lens and could not see well that night. Times flies. I still clearly remember the whole ceremony like yesterday. We left Hong Kong more than 30 years. Enjoy freedom and western education. Love our Queen and wish her majesty longevity , healthy and happy! We are grateful - grown up in a borrowed place on borrowed time. God bless Great Britain 🇬🇧 and America 🇺🇸!
Those were the days! Civil liberties and the rule of law in Hong Kong. God save the Queen. Now it's time to add something: DEMOCRACY. I'm sure Her Majesty would be more than happy to see a democratic Hong Kong. 😊

There were plenty and my family have been in Hong Kong since those times. We still are. I wish you wumao would find something useful to do. You've taken enough from us already.

If it were the real sound of the time, pity the Queen had to sit through all that. No wonder that she would rather give away HK than to tolerate another trip through such torture. 如果這是當時真正的聲音，可惜女王得坐下來忍受這一切。 難怪她寧願放棄HK，也不願再忍受這樣的折磨。
