Nice work! Just a tip for you or anyone else looking into installing this, you can just squeeze the sides of the glove box inwards and it'll clear the tabs to allow it to completely swing down and out of the way to access the Sync module. This will save your back from laying in an awkward position and time with the install.

When I younger I do something like this, except take to a shop to let them do it, Now I keep the stock car radio, I use my recorder cd player to play music, fuck that sync thing to music. I still have a bundle of cd recorder like 15yrs ago, I use my computer to record music. I just use my phone to navigate. It was expensive back than it still expensive now, It have not change much it just intergated with other software stuff.

How is the display in the sunlight? I'm thinking of installing the 9 that just came out in my 08 convertible, but have been trying to find out if the sun washes out the screen too much or not.

It’s definitely a glare on the screen but it’s only in direct sunlight. I think if you have some good tint on your car, you’ll be just fine!

Thanks! That’s what I was kind of afraid off, with the top down, depending on the sun, it’ll be mainly in direct sunlight. I’ll have to see if I can Google around and if there’s a film or protector for it that’ll act as a matte finish to prevent it.

Did you have static problems with the passenger side speakers buzzing? Heard that is a huge common problem with this install... getting mine installed tomorrow and nervous haha

It did at first, usually it’s a plug in issue. Just make sure you really get those connections in there.

I’ve had the Dynavin 8 for 6 months and I’m not even kidding I just started having this issue. My passenger side speaker is having static sounds. I’m gonna open it up and check for any loose connections or defects. Hopefully can get it resolved. Aside from that I’ve had no issues with it. Any ideas on what might be causing it? RCA cable?

@@vladd886_ My biggest guess is that it could a connection issue with the wires that are plugged into the back of your radio. If you have an older mustang like me, it could be your speakers starting to go out as well. A lot of people are resetting their Bluetooth connection and that’s fixing the problem as well.

Do the volume buttons work for your steering wheel since installing the Dynavin?
