Hey guys in this video I will be installing an apple car play radio on my 2012 V6 Mustang! If you guys own a S197 Mustang you probably have to deal with the calculator looking screen for the radio and it sucks! Well I’m here to inform you that this radio I will be installing makes your car look 5 years newer! It definitely adds a design to the interior of your car and not just looks but also functionality! This apple carplay screen is basically a 12 inch iPad in your car! How crazy it that? Well it also has android auto for all of you Samsung owners out there. #mustang #s197 #radio

Totally worth it for the little amount it costs I have 2014 convertible and it came with the most basic ass radio not even a shaker model it was soo bad it stopped working and an oem shaker model cost way more than this did 👍

How did u get the a/c to work because my buttons on mine is not controlling the a/c
How do I connect it to my shaker subwoofer ?
It’s sucks all of these are over $200 I’m getting the saw and making my own
Reverse sensors still working with this unít? the steering bottoms and the heated seat still working?

Yes all of those work and you can install the back up camera as well
Can you still use the buttons on the steering wheel to control the radio?

Yes you can use the volume and skip buttons

Yes the ac and everything work the same as the normal radio no problems either that what so ever

Yes the 2010-14 are all very similar

Only issues was the speakers it’s hard to get bass

You have to plug in everything on the back

i plugged in everything and the bottom controls wont work. i still have one cord but no adapter
