It seems to me that you need to have an individual that's not sponsored by you. Review both things because you're coming off a little. What's the word or phrase? Mine is better than the case just promote yours. As people stated, you didn't even show all the functions of the other and and you kind of down talked it like it wasn't equal in which it is from what i've seen watching this video. When people watch these, they expect someone to be honest, no matter what state they have in it.

The cheaper one actually looks better tbh, that logo on the side of the screen looks beyond cheap and I would actually rather have it properly mounted with fasteners instead of plastic clips

Update. I bought the budget one a few weeks ago and I'm very happy with it. Does everything any other car play does and the screen quality and touch sensitivity is actually really impressive

I think the cheap one also records at 1440p while the expensive one only 1080p, plus the side menu is really nice because it gives you all the settings and menus you need at a touch instead of pressing a button, then going through menus.​@@qqq18462

I think having a USB C Power input is a big Plus for the cheaper unit. Angled USB C cables can be had for very little money so you can still have the cable pointing down

You don't think this sneaky way of advertising is bad for your channels reputation?

Making a big fuss over screws i say that makes it more secured. More of a static look were the ball with time and heat will start to sag. Screws are a bonus to me! And also one think to learn from the cheaper option i like the clean no logo look👌🏻

I’m going to say with complete confidence, with the box being close to the same and everything that these were probably made by the same manufacturer somewhere in china one just has a different name.

Both are worth it. It's basically similar hardware and software. When you are driving you are not looking at the cable so for some or many it is not an issue

Subscribed just for this. My 2017 was totaled out after 6 months of experiencing CarPlay, not I got 2016 and almost returned it just for that. I’m looking 700-850 for a new system upgrade so this is sooo much more doable. Great comparison. Going with the higher end.

If your car has double din old infotainment system, consider head unit instead of these. Much better. Got mine for $350. Wireless Android Auto / Apple Carplay 7" display. Smooth and doesn't drop connection.

Bro you need to compare stuff that got same features. Nearly half a price more? For just that camera to able to turn around? But the video quality and voice quality both are good. Then i will choose cheaper one. And i know in some unit. You able to hide those side bar in setting or leave it on.

I got the carpuride w903 like the one in this video but without rev cam.I seriously love this device especially since Google maps tells you where speed cameras and speed traps are. Cuz recently I got a ticket for a speed camera that they just put near my house so I got this so that won't happen again.The only thing I don't like about the device is the mounts because my cars dashboard doesn't really allow me to mount anything to it so I always have to mount things on my windshield but I can't mount the carpuride on the windshield because the suction cup is always in the way of the camera and no matter how I put it there's always something that gets interfered, either I can't see or the suction cup gets in the way of the camera.

Can you do a test with multiple phones? how it handles switching phones that are controlling the car play, what happens if 2 paired phones are in the car together, if there’s a way to switch between them easily, etc.

None of these could compete with Roadtop 2nd gen. The full lamination screen in roadtop product (and another brand called Carpod) gives you a better view experience. And the view-only mode won't mess around your Bluetooth signals. Carpuride is a brand that sells worse product.

The cheaper one has a better looking box … That would make me buy the cheaper one than the expensive one just because of the box ahaha

I have the carpuride and my only complaint is the phone quality. The other party says they can here themselves talk and it's annoying. I have to revert to the phone speaker or use my earphones when on a call.

I just bought an android head unit, few months ago. It has 9 inch screen, 4GB of RAM and 128GB storage. I can use it as DVR to record both rear and front camera. So far, really satisfied except for the built in amplifier. So I hook it up with external amp. The built in DSP also pretty good. And the most important thing is, it only cost around 120 USD equivalent to my currency. It could be cheaper if you buy it from site like aliexpress tho. But I choose to buy from local marketplace for the warranty and avoid to pay expensive import tax

It seems like they either changed the budget device now or updated the software. Newer review images of the budget one don't show the permanent menu on the left anymore. Its full screen like the more expensive one.

That’s so good making someone’s life easier , when my 5 kids were little I didn’t have a car and I had to walk 4 of them to school then walk back and walk to kinder then walk back to pick her up then walk back to school then walk back home and everyone wondered why a had such a good body having 5 kids so good things come out of bad things 😂

Nice but they have a problem... there is no backup battery. I use it on my motorbike and too often it turns off and on again due to vibrations, disconnecting the intercom... I got a buffer battery to stem the problem, but when it goes to charge too... it turns off the power for a moment.

I have a 2008 Honda Civic. It does not have Bluetooth on the factory radio. I am assuming Aux will be my best option for connecting the audio to my car stereo. Is that correct? I prefer the devices with the wider screen. I’ll be honest I don’t really need a dash cam but I would want a backup camera. What devices would you recommend? Also can you make a video where you install a backup camera and show the best way to install it and hide the backup camera wire. Thanks

How is the sound audio for the Carpuride?

So it doesn't really sound like you can output from these devices to your car's stereo over Bluetooth with AA or Apple Carplay - i.e. it looked like you are just streaming from your phone AND connected to these devices not instead of your phone to stereo via Bluetooth. connecting via AUX might be the best option still it seems.

Yeah that's exactly what it is. I installed the cheap one yesterday and you need to make sure your phone is connected to the car bluetooth to get the sound to go through.

What’s the difference between the w903 and the 103 pro?

I have a version of the cheaper one and one of my frustrations is I have to re-pair it with the screen every like 4th time I get in the car. It'll work seamlessly for the first ~3 times and then it's time to forget the device and re-do it. Is the Carpuride one better about this kind of behavior and being able to reliably sync up? My only guess is it happens because my phone is connecting BT to the screen for carplay then discons and connects to the car for audio. So maybe it's a flaw in which bluetooth handshake starts first any given time. I don't know but it's frustrating.

I have had a Carpuride W901 Pro for about 6 months and it has to be repaired from time to time also. I pair my iPhone with my car and the Carpuride, but it is constantly switching the audio output back and forth if you send a text or have a phone call and then go back to playing music. I've gotten used to it and can usually just adjust the car radio volume on my steering wheel controls and then it will kick back to car stereo bluetooth. iPhones dual connect on bluetooth, so connecting your phone to both is really the best setup for audio quality. I just ordered one of the cheap versions on Amazon and don't really notice any difference. I like the new cheaper one in that it is the wider/shorter version than my 4:3 Carpuride model. That is on me though, Carpuride had the widescreen version when I ordered mine.

Carpuride is better. I got one. No bugs and better camera pictures with sd card and sound with video recording. Plus you can turn the front camera and you dont get that annoying cable coming down the side when your trying to hide the wires.

Looks phone bluetooth connected to the screen only. It means if you want to play some music from the phone while using GPS navigation, it was sticked to the cheap speaker not the cars'. My ideal is to share the Bluetooth to car and screen both. It looks no product can make it.

For the price diff I would go for the cheaper LYTDZ-CA

I have a 103 pro. It worked for six months then went out. You should forget getting any support from them. Been waiting 2 weeks to get any satisfaction or any help. That 24 month warranty is a joke

could someone please explain the difference between the W903 vs the W103 pro, I tried searching around but I couldn't find an answer. I understand the W103 pro has dual Bluetooth, but then if my phone can connect to the W903 and the cars Bluetooth simultaneously then what benefit does the W103 pros dual Bluetooth really have? On a side note, I'm wanting to install in my n80 hilux which runs toyota entune 2.0, anyone tried installing this is something similar and have any feedback. - Cheers from down under

Depends on your car. Some cars shut off the cigarette outlet when the car is turned off. It does not drain my car battery because it shuts off the power to it when the car is off

90 dollars is a big enough different for you to call a thing a daily driver vs a budget they are both over priced.

Shat is ghetto is worrying about what another person has in their car. There’s many reasons you want a screen like this. For example keeping my 1990 Toyota pickup stereo stock and having this to be able to use my phone features. Why can’t people just enjoy stuff instead of put others down.

Carpuride seems to make decent devices, but they always have a horribly ugly logo on the front, which is a deal breaker. If they want their brand to feel like a brand, make the logo not a word, keep it simple, and keep it out of the line of sight. A brand that people like doesn't need to tell you what it is. You just recognize the product. Get rid of the ugly word on the front. Please.

From me you win a dislike button. You dont respond to peoples comment, you promote only Carpuride even if they are 90% the same chinesse products with minor differences.
