Vosteed should 100 percent do a larger version of the Nightshade; I would definitely buy it and I would love to see it in budget form and premium. It would be a great addition to their lineup and maybe be a way to gauge if they should come out with larger versions of their other models like the Raccoon. I’m all in Jerad let’s make it happen! Also let’s have them add bolster locks!

YES! Do a large version please. 8"-8.5" with the flipper and hole is something that I would definitely buy. I prefer micarta over G10 but having the G10 in jade with the titanium bolster is fine, I'll dye it.

If they make one in the latest version with the increase in dimensions, I will buy it. Even if it's in the 154cm blade steel or 14C28N, they need to do this. It'll sell like hotcakes.

I love Vosteed and the Nightshade, so yes, a larger version would be welcome, but I also just buy every single release. The only company I have done this with. I did get the titanium version in Elmax, btw.

I have been carrying the new Nightshade for the past couple of days. It is an excellent knife but it could stand to be just that one size up! The combination of a little bit more hand filling and a slightly longer blade would make it perfect. 3.75" would be perfect but because of laws in many areas 3.5" is probably the best size.

Is a regular size titanium frame lock Nightshade flipper with a frontal brass or micarta inlay similar the inlays on a reate exo or griffon knives scout OEM by bestech I believe.

While the thumbhole (no flipper variant) does fit my large hands well, it's only just fits. I'd love to see and pick up a larger version, & keeping with some premium steels (154CM is fine, but I already have one in it). It'd take a bit of design and up the cost a bit (especially with harder blade steel) but it'd be amazing to see a removable flipper tab offered for the Nightshade series like Lionsteel and Kizer have been offering on some models lately. That way they don't have to make the flipper and flipperless SKUs like they've done previously. That doesn't fully resolve the thumb stud (TS) vs the thumb hole (TH) versions, but ya can't win 'em all with a simple feature.

I'm all for any larger knife. It seems like every knife company starts with there large knife then end up selling only the smaller versions. None of the smaller knives fit my hand properly.

First, i would def buy larger version. Secondly, I'm a lefty and often like to leave the clip for righty carry because it's just more ergonomic and comfy with clip not in my palm. Maybe I'm just weird but it seems natural for lefty carry with clip made for righty carry to me. Most of my knivesvi leave clip positioned for right very. My fingers wrap around and fit into the groove of clip

I personally like smaller knives. The 2.6" mini or the regular would be perfect for me. But a lot of people love knives with a bit more meat. So I really think making a larger version of an average sized pocket knife would have a great appeal in the market. You don't see many blade shapes like this in a larger knife. So it definitely would be beneficial for Vosteed to make this in an XL size. By xl, i mean xl version of this smaller knife, not a huge xl version. I know quite a few people that would love to get their hands on one.

Just depends on the heat treatment, if it's really good with good hrc then you can go anywhere from medium grit to polish, if it's softer then I would stay in the 600 to 1000 grit range
