Stinger had better utility and nicer styling. Now that the Stinger's gone, they could've at least updated this to greater heights. I still don't understand why they keep resisting in putting the 3.5T into this thing.

I would prefer it to either be 2 analog and digital in the middle than our current 2023 version we have. I hope they realize this is needed since tit was the only reason I didn't get a 2023.

Does it have HDA II or only HDA I?

New engine, Brembos, and new colors. Very interesting.

now if they make the back seat a lot more roomy or at least some more leg room then you have a winner, especially with the 2.5t engine

I had a 2023 G70 sports prestige I loved every part of the car but the back seat is non existent it’s pretty much a 4 door coupe, I totaled mine but i might be coming back only thing keeping me away for now is that back seat 😅 I have 2 little ones and they are not always with me but when they are it’s impossible to get them in the back especially because I’m 6’1

Sorry to hear that. I actually was in car accident also but car (same year and model as you) is not totaled-driver side swiped me so body shop is replacing both passenger doors totaling $10,500. Thankfully nothing too serious. Also body shop told me that I’m able to claim diminished value-so insurance will give me money for depreciation!

Yeah back seat is super annoying I'm in a infiniti redsport atm and has way more space in back and looks smaller lol. I had g80 before the redsport now want to go back to genesis tossing up between g70 and Audi s5 or s6 maybe g80 but newer face lift twin turbo awd r so expensive

Let me guess. The U.S won’t get the digital display or any of the updates it’ll probably end up getting canceled all together

It is going to be cancelled unfortunately. The G70 is not selling enough numbers to justify a next generation. Will be upgrading with this one from my 2.0t.

@@tebanjose6928 the only reason I still believe that the 2024 g70 will come to the states is bc multiple people have talked to us sales reps about the car and being told that orders will be in Nov. also I doubt they’d drop a car without announcing it being its final year of availability. Then again it all speculation won’t know anything for sure till genesis says something definite.

@@tebanjose6928 this is exactly what I predicted. They keep the old technology and the old low output engine but charge $48,000 for it and it stops selling and they’ll just blame it on people don’t want sedans. This is an artificial and manipulated manufactured market

Perfect engine upgrade for 2024. I would take this over the EXPENSIVE V6 gas guzzler.

Umm.. they also needed to upgrade the 3.3T to the newer 3.5T. Really doesn't make sense from an economic perspective to manufacture two different engines with the same output, unless they had a bunch sitting in stock since the K900 and Stinger have been discontinued.

@@philhenderson3516 Replacing the 2.0T with a 2.5T was relatively cheap because they already did most of the work on the Stinger, replacing the 3.3T with the 3.5T is expensive because there is a lot of work to be done, its not worth it.

I was just talking to the fleet manager at my Genesis dealership after getting my 2021 g70 2.0 serviced. He said usually by this time of year he would already have next year's model in his system. But right now he has not had anything for a 2024 g70 show in his system. It might come to the U.S. but California may not get any... 😤 I would totally upgrade!!

Sucks ass? It's legible and displays all pertinent info. If it did have a digital dash everybody would be complaining about how much more expensive it is.

@@BKJP1998 if a cheap Kia or Hyundai can have a full digital cluster dash with touch screen combo I’m sure Genesis the more luxurious brand can too. The cost is already a lot more so equip it as such. It’s just so awkward without any symmetry.

@@jawonthegemini The reason they do it is to justify the premiums on the GV70 & G80 over the G70. Since sales were down for the G70 this past year, I'm sure they'll add it as a feature in the US for 2024.

It prevents calls from the police station. Most of Korea has a speed limit of 50 to 60 km, and highways have a speed limit of 100 to 110 km. If you want to show you the performance, you can't show it without violating it

United States won't get digital dash tho. Center wrapped leather steering wheel is nice. My 2023 model is a cheap plastics and looks hideous

I would say there still is a chance of the digital cluster being added for the 2024 update. I totally agree with you on the plastic steering wheel cover since it was the cheapest feeling piece throughout the interior on the 2023. So glad they finally changed it up with leather this time😂

i dont get why they dont have the gv70 interior otherwise id buy

I would take that but it’s not AWD for the 290 HP engine

No wireless Android auto or Apple car play in a 50K 2024 vehicle is inexcusable. I've driven newer corollas that have this now.

yea~ hyundai grew so fast.I think hyundai beat mercedes benz for interrior design.. ( I don.t understand whats going on with mercedes disigners....they started copy sonata design the original version..) mercedes wear too many ipads....cannot see any other button than previous model..... hyundai will beat europian cars market soon for future.
