1st off your car sounds amazing. Just be aware that on these cars, full catless will lead to oil in your turbo.

If I'm not mistaken, that looks like Siberian Frost white body color just like mine...only 1 of NOT to many w/ red interior

I just purchase the ARK secondary pipes and while I know it only makes it a little louder I am ok with that. I can't have it like my old car with headers and full exhaust. I was considering a custom mid pipe but I read the stock midpipe has resonators in it and that means I will have to put resonators somewhere else or have a loud drone. You know if that is true about the midpipe. I was only looking to replace it so it was a better quality sound with a 304 aluminum but I cannot imagine the stock midpipe is high quality but if it does have resonators in it that I guess I will have to replace the in the new one. I admit I was likely just going to stay stock with mufflers and get the Carbon quad Ark tips but then I saw it has oval pipes exiting the muffler and that is annoying because I cannot even install myself now with the bolts and will have to have it welded.

This is likely the best exhaust demo I have seen of the facelift, really sounds incredible compared to the disappointing stock exhaust which btw sounds good when you're moving but revving at a standstill is pretty embarrassing, just sounds like a vacuum lol.

To be fair. All automatics sound terrible when revving. I had a Charger Scat Pack which had the loudest stock exhaust I've ever heard (it's really a 50/50 btw it and the quad tip Mustang GT) but it still sounded terrible when revving. Under power though... it was amazing Meanwhile my Edge ST has no exhaust note at idle, while revving, or under power so... ugh 🤦‍♂️

Yeah in texas we’re required to have mufflers and catalytic converters but obviously I don’t. I heard in Cali it’s harder to get away with that but your exhaust setup sounds sick too

I owned the 2021 G70 and sold it 5 months ago for the new G80. Both are totally different. If you want luxury, quiet, and more room, the G80 is a good car. the G70 RWD is really fun to drive though and I do miss it sometimes

What downpipe you go with i need my g70 to sound like urs lol.... did you change out the air intakes yet

You should it acts as ppf too. The one I got is dark black so it impacts it a little. Check them out on Amazon and maybe a smoke black will be best

Yeah it does at least for the v6. There’s a few burbles with primary cats on but there’s much more and louder ones with cats on without any tune

Seems the g70 does the ignition cut quick shifting much more often than all the other stinger/g70 models, wonder why

Sounding good is subjective you have to decide what parts of the exhaust you want to change. Running good just by doing regular maintenance and following all recommendations and directions when installing anything aftermarket

Its the Sport Advanced, so its missing the LSD, Brembo’s, 360 cameras and a few other nice upgrades. This one got Brembo’s installed on it now atleast

First few modifications sounded better, last modification not so much. As it became just shouty and nothing more, it didn't improve exhaust note. It sounds like that eroded muffler civic with holes in exhaust rather than proper after market exhaust to sound good

That’s a good idea. I considered it around the time when I plastidipped the genesis badge in the back but thought the temperatures would get so hot that the plastidip on the tips would fade. You haven’t experienced any issues with that?

I just removed the chrome oval pieces to give me room to add quad tips so I’ll do that instead

@@aliag70 I took my chrome rings off and used Raptor flat black wheel paint and put them back on. Had to put a sheet of paper over the since there is no room and they will get scratched quick putting them back on. Looks way better however I am looking to possible install the Ark CF dual tips and not sure if they will fit with the rings on but I hope so. My ADRO CF kit well the rear diffuser sits right under the ring so I hope there are no heat issue but they are dual walled tips.

I don’t have a HUD. You can scroll through screen on the dash and add the speed limit by setting it through the scrolling screen

G80 TT owner and I can't get on board w/ this, I'm afraid. BUT, I'm glad Genesis owners are moding them (I have the JB4 w/ ethanol sniffer running straight E30 and pedal CMDR and that's it + 20" wheels)...and that I can get behind.

IMO the straight pipe sound doesn’t go well with the g70s look. What made you choose a g70 over a Stinger?

I get that I just wanted something loud 😂. Plus I saved probably 50-100 pounds completely straight piped. Few reasons why I chose the g70. I like its design more to me it looks classier. It also see less g70s than stingers so being less common is appealing. Also the interior on the g70 is nicer than the stingers.

I made a decision between the two flagship cars, went with the G70, it just looks better. I saw Stingers on the road beforehand and I just didn't like the look of them. That being said, I don't see how a louder exhaust has anything to do with looks.

I agree. Ive owned lots if cars and sometimes the noise just doesnt go wtih the car. The car is too elegant to not truley have that deep rumble. It sounds loud on the top end but not great maybe 6 out of 10. It almost doesnt keep uo with the rest of the car which is a 9.

my 2023 genesis 70 3.3t awd with 2000 miles I am just broke down the turbo exploded it is currently out the service in genesis it has warranty but the turbo exploded it is brand new car with 2000 miles I was very disappointed

@@socksamazingchannel No disrespect taken! A full digital dash would be nice I’m pretty sure it’s like that in Canada. But honestly at this price the whole car is a bargain. Step inside a 80k hellcat and it feels worse than a Corolla. The direct competitors of this car like the m340i cost tens of thousands more and don’t offer much extra. Plus the g70 is the entry level genesis model and not geared towards luxury like the rest of the lineup. That’s just my take though

@@aliag70 had A4 for 2 years not a single issue. I have money to maintain it and it doesn’t give any problems. It’s b9 chasis very reliable and worth every penny. Nothing drives like Audi or Bmw. Gebesis is cool car and they try to compete with german luxury cars but they not there yet. Genesis overpriced in my opinion.
