I just traded in g70 2.0t Sport Prestige for the 3.3t Sport Prestige and I couldn't have been happier with the upgrade.

As a former MB C43 and current Audi S5 owner, this car has really impressed me. For the cost, its definitely worth a test drive when it's time to get rid of the Audi.

I'm picking up my second 2022 G70 sport tomorrow at Genesis. Seriously an amazing car for the price. I'm Korean, and I'm really proud of my people for making it's mark in the auto industry. Really great review as always Joe!

i own that exact car just with grey interior, its amazing. personally i changed the tires at 1500 miles because i didnt think the michelin primacy do that car justice. changed to continental extreme contact and it makes the car drive better in every way

Bought this Vehicle over a year ago... ..3.3T Fully Loaded. AWD....Influenced by this review. No regrets. Love this car!!!

I have always been a Mercedes-Benz owner. But Genesis has stepped up their game. In a way that I would have never imagined. With the Mercedes C-Class it's more of the same. With the Genesis g70 it's an eye-opener. Body lines are beautifully done and matched. I myself would definitely give the Genesis brand a try.

Stepped up their game....They took everything from from Mercedes-Benz, Audi & Bimmer....they haven't brought anything new to market their the copy cats Lexus has been. But what they can't steal is the 3 kings Heritage & the way it drives & handles...u guys are terrible!

Bought the 21 G70 3.3T fully loaded about 6 months and absolutely love it. Would definitely recommend it, my only zonk is the infotainment. not a big fan of it but I do love that the fact that I can fit probably 8-10 ding dongs in the center console , 3 cans of mello yellow in the glove and 2 baby deer in the trunk.

@@davidcarey1822 The 2022 was marked up appropriately, the 2023 for whatever reason has been marked up to death, not sure if it's the popularity or need for the car but if you want one I would suggest a 2022 model which I got during the chip shortage/covid so prices were already out of wack. Good bang for your buck? That's for sure.

I have a c43 amg and love the car - PFL PE exhaust sounds amazing. I test drove a GV70 the other day and was so incredibly impressed. Definately leaning towards genesis for my next purchase.

Just bought the RWD 3.3t the other day. I’ve got to say, I’ve been a very happy man driving it!!

I cannot imagine needing more car for the street than this. It is simply beautiful. Performs like it looks and Genesis has been rated #1 in initial quality a few times. A gorgeous car.

Hyundai’s Genesis line is finally poised to become a serious contender in the major markets… which I feel certain they’ll do. When introduced in 2015, I was quite impressed but it seemed like they were just quietly sticking a toe in the water. But this year they’re really making some good waves!

Over 350 HP, nice interior and even a spare tire for $52K! Good deal

I usually don't like split headlights. But it works here. The car looks serious.

GOAT! Honestly, Genesis is still relatively new to the market so it needs more time to establish its value when compared to brands like Mercedes and Lexus. It is the new popular kid on the block. This vehicle is a direct competitor to the Acura TLX if anything. Also, Genesis is what Infiniti should’ve evolved into.

Honestly besides a maybe better platform the tlx is not even close to the g70 or stinger in terms of performance. And pricing the g70 starts cheaper for the 3.3 awd and even if you get the higher trim it's still a way better bang for your buck then a tlx

I was in a Q50 for 6 years and now im switching over to the Genesis G70.. so yea ill agree with you on that one lol

Funny part is is I would most definitely use the nature sounds while driving home from work pissed off 😂

The camera setup def gives you a sense of how the car is to drive. Gave me a smile ngl

I have a 22 which is this body style with everything you demonstrated. I love it! What else can be said. I’d do this again in a heartbeat.

I own a '23 3.3tt AWD in Siberian Ice (AWD is avail here in Canada) ... had it for a few weeks now, absolutely love it!!!! Pictures and videos don't do this car justice, you need to see/drive it in person. I get compliments every time I stop to fill up. Never thought I would love this car as much as I do!! (former '18 TLX A-Spec owner)

Not a Hyundai/Kia Fan by any means but they have stepped it up a bit and this Genesis has a very clean exterior and beautiful interior to match…. Also This price point surprised me…. In a good way… I personally still would go Lexus or Acura but good job Hyundai 👏 … and as always great job Raitis Ride’s team !!

I would love to see genesis/Kia implement that 3.3tt v6 Into a sports coupe sometime in the future, maybe like a coupe variant stinger? Seems like an idea that has some potential just as a last hurrah to gas power, plus I personally think the stinger styling would look killer in a coupe form 👍

The Integra Type S would be the Acura in the same class. The TLX is much bigger than the G70 and is closer to the G80 in size.

I dumped my 2012 Lexus is250 for a 2023 white G70 3.3t. No regrets…

Excellent driving, man. That's clean.

Just like the stinger this thing is capable of so much more power

I have a 2019. Blue with the same interior. Opted for the 2.o engine and get 35mpg on the highway which I need. Nothing better out there. Beautiful car and solid build.

That's cool but you can't compare the 4cyl to V6

still can't believe the Elantra N has a full digital cluster, and yet even the highest trim G70 only comes with 2/3 of a digital gauge cluster. Either than that it's a gorgeous car inside and out

FACTS! I sold my 2020 G70 3.3T and the interior was outdated, the new ones gauge cluster is embarrassing. The transmission was its weak point too. I test drove the Elantra N and the DCT was awesome. I’m just an old guy and Elantra N was too crazy for my liking.

Who cares for digital gauges honestly , they give a cheap factor to a car imo. Dials mixed digital will age better and just gives you a better sense of speed.

It looks way more interesting. I love it how literally the previous bentley designer is working for Hyundai (Genesis) now.

I live in Canada, and I just purchased a white one with burgundy interior G70 Advanced version with AWD , with the 4 banger ( I am 74 ). I should be getting it in a few weeks.

So about that rear cargo space in the trunk, you didn't mention that the seats fold down which has been really useful for me compared to my 2008 C300 which has a decent trunk but the rear seats DID NOT fold down to increase cargo room or for odd items that are longer than your standard, or even larger trunk in this class. That's a big deal and it came in handy more than a few times for me.

Love it!!!! Especially the interior with no horrible piano black trim. Smoke those 🛞

I sold my 2019 Genesis G70 with the hope I can get Genesis X but it’s not out yet and I ended up getting this new Gen G70 oh boy this 3.3L V6 twin turbo is quick !

I had a 2018 Cadillac CT6 TT and it was TERRIBLE! Loved the car but the engine was horrendous! Have loved my G 80 and now my G70!

I gotta tell you I’m with you on Caddy CT5 v….I test drove it and yes I was impressed but damn, they only had one on lot and msrp 65K fully loaded not counting 2K markup, then tax, title, license close 70K!…salesman said I could order but it would take 4-6 months and then I could option it how I want, possibly get one for 58K but omitting certain packages. I test drove 2023 G70 3.3t RWD and damnit fell in love with it…msrp $55k fully loaded but salesman also said 2K markup because of market and then tax, title, license drove it up to 62K….I’m glad to say I was able to negotiate to 58K out the door for fully loaded! 👍🏼🤘🏼🔥

Hyundai saved KIA’s ass back in the day. They are rebadged Hyundai’s! I use to work for Hyundai/Genesis. 😉 Retired about 5 years ago. Miss the business. I sold high end Luxury cars for over 20 years!

I always been a Hyundai gal lol. That’s all my parents drove growing up but they did step out once, got a Kia and had a terrible experience. They went back to Hyundai afterwards and haven’t look at another brand since. But I get the hype because they have a great warranty and the cars hold up great throughout the years. I had 3 Hyundai cars and I currently drive a Nissan and I hate it. Within the next 2 years want to go back to Hyundai but I really want a Genesis G70 and technically it’s still Hyundai bred soooo here I come Genesis. I was also looking at an Audi A5 but Genesis is really making me forget about an Audi lol

They both amazing. I have to say one one the best refresh I seen in a long time. If I could I would own them both even though they the same car. It’s so far from similar it look like a different car. I would buy the 2020 and the 2022 just to have the style of both. These will be great old school cars when we get old. I can imagine it.
