It got even better this time. A team of people working together to go after the individual cracks and cleaning of the drive through. As well as clearing the path with a blower. The quality of work has gone up since last time. Great video 👍.

The reason I do my own seal coat is because these people used a watered down product when the last guy used the thick stuff with a better technique.

These guys had a easy job , last guy did such a great job that it still looked allot better then when he started in 2017.

My dad used to do this himself. I don’t know how many times my friends in high school asked me, “Why does your dad paint the driveway.” My answer was always the same, “I dunno but it’s the best looking one on the block” they always agreed. We also had some white rocks that he cleaned on the reg too.

So I went outside and sure enough, beauty bark, rocks, gravel and Zero Grass!! I asked him, “when did that happen because I remember mowing that hill all the time. It sucked!” And he said “pretty much as soon as you guys moved out. I sure as hell wasn’t gonna do it.” Hahaa! Love that guy.

Im not an expert like some and possibly the more professional job was done by these guys but it was more satisfying for me to watch the one dude do it himself in 2 minutes.

It basically seals the cracks to keep the driveway protected during the winter freeze thaw cycle - doesn’t let water get into the cracks and freeze breaking up the driveway

Actually the driveway will continue to fracture from underneath and the sealer is nothing more than rubberized tar the same stuff they use in asphalt but the sealer does slow the process down of the asphalt cracking and it lasts as long as the abuse givin it,plowing,shoveling ,salt and or sanding. My suggestion would be find some who does hot sealing with a grit finish more $ but sometimes worth it for durability.

I caught the premiere & just read the reviews on this one.

It seals up the little cracks so they don’t become big cracks in the freeze thaw cycle with winter.

in the second videos the cracks were not filled correctly, so it will not help a lot in the next winter ...

Blown away at the criticism some people are giving these guys. Been having my driveways sealed for 40 years. (obviously different driveways) I can tell you beyond a shadow of a doubt these guys in the first and this video are doing a great job and using a good to possibly better than good product to seal with. Not saying it is the best product. Not there close enough to render that opinion. But if you think the driveway is suppose to look new again, you will never be satisfied. It i suppose to look refreshed and sealed for a couple of years. It is the people that spray the seal that I don't "believe" is a decent product. And that is merely an opinion of results from the past.

When ever you need a sealcoat again in two years or whenever. Don't take a quote from the Irishman who may view this vid and call to your door... "Sor il do it for $100 Sor. God job guaranteed to lasht forever." Paddy will arrive a few weeks later. Tin of Black Paint and a 2 inch brush. "Sorry Sor but this job has got a little more expensive. Special Black Paint very Expensive has to be imported. Shall we call it $1000. Oh and I see a few roof tiles loose and missin. We can fix that up too. All in $1500. Oh and there is Labour. I had to get Jimmy, Micky, Tommy and Johnjoe to give a hand. So $2000 Sor."......All said in jest. And I'm an Irishman. Lol

Disappointing Have more people but still take a longer time than the previous one The sealcoat also too thin as we can still see the crack on the ground

Well at least they did something many forget to do. Prefill the cracks. Though as others pointed out. It was obvious that they used some watered down seal, since you instantly saw the cracks again. I've done this myself twice in my job and i know how hard it can be to do a good job on it. So i have to say Kudos to the first one we saw. The second.. while i hope it lasts long enough, it isn't as good as a job as the first.

I like the end where you can see it flash over and dry.
