Wow great work. I like all the details showing on the video.
Great upholstery! I've been upholstering professionally for 25 years and this is one of the best you tube videos. And from someone of your age/experience that's really something. Keep up the good work.

Do you happen to have a favorite project for a scallop-backed chair?
This is a labor of love, patient, and skills. Beautifully done. The color palette you choose is elegant and pristine. Keep going with the videos.
It is one of the most clear upholstery tutorial that I have watched. Thanks a bunch young boy
Thank you so much! Exactly what I needed! Thank you for working slowly and concisely. Looking forward to more videos!
Wow! What a beautiful result. Nice work - thanks for showing us!
Your chair looks simply beautiful.
Simply stunning!
Love the colors :) Thanks for sharing your work
Thank you, i have 6 dining chairs exactly like this sitting in my garage waiting patiently for their transformation.
So beautiful I love strip and plaids fabric.

Your instructions volume was very low, whereas background music was high. I had to constantly adjust volume to hear you speak. You did a great job on the chair.
Charlie, you are a talented guy looking forward to more videos. Genuinely nice upholstery keep up the excellent work.
Thank you so much for sharing such a detailed video! 🥰
Gorgeous! you have the patience of a saint! a professional couldn't do better!
Thank you for a very informative video!!! Loved everything except the background music.

yes, great job on the chair and great video. music too loud though. but excellent job!
I absolutely love it
I have these exact chairs!! Thanks for the inspiration 🙌😊
I'm really glad to see this tutorial! My mom has some dining room chairs similar to this one, but with a wicker backing. My nephew poked a few holes in one of the chairs and little by little my son got to it as well, and now the chair is wrecked! I've been thinking of changing the wicker out to apholstry fabric, and this gave me the idea on how to change it out. Thank you for your time and filming your masterpiece! It turned out gorgeous 😍!
So beautiful! I went to upholstery guy and asked for $600 to do it. I’ll do it by myself 😄
Marvelous! 😍👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
You are a great teacher. I wish you success
Thanks Charles. Charming.
Super job, well done, you!
You did an amazing job, it looks fantastic. Your music is so loud though I had to turn the sound off and just watch.
I've got to get one of those staple guns. Beautiful!
Beautiful job, thank you, I enjoyed watching you work :)
Very well done!
Well done, lovely job
Wow beautiful work
Hi Charlie from down under. You've made one of the best videos I've watched (and I watched many tutorials!). I've only made this comment on 2 others. You are a very good teacher. Going slow enough on each section to show exactly how it's done but not making us watch while you complete that whole piece. eg. You start your stapling then jump to the finish. I have 6 chairs similar to yours I've been putting off. I know have the confidence to reupholster them now, when before I was only going to chalk paint the whole chair. I'm 67yo and can sew but it appears that there is no sewing required! Great job on the video and the chair and thank you. (you might just want to turn the music down a fraction as you have a lovely calming voice)
BRAVISSIMO, ottimo lavoro 👍🏻🙂
Great job!
Beautiful job
Excellent job man. Very good. I love it.
Amazing work! 🤩
I have literally exactly the same chairs with the same green fabric on them! :D Thank you for showing me how to literally fix the chairs that I have :D
Great job
Great video. Thank you so much.
Beautiful
Fantastic, what a great job! 22:42

What a wonderful job Charlie. I have a chair just like this that I am in the process of trying to do the same with. Your demonstration was very helpful. Thanks.

I am about to upcycle four chairs similar to the one you have shown, I have never undertaken upholstery before, your video was really great, wish me luck !
You did a great job . Want to do mine this weekend. Greetings from Vienna
Nicely done ❤
Gorgeous!! What a beautiful job you did. And the visual quality and content was excellent, top notch. Look forward to watching more videos!
This is amazing, you are very talented.
Thank you, great job.
I have exactly same chairs this video will help me alot with my upcycling
Nice job!
Excelente trabsjo👌
Very instructive and love the finish you've given this chair but agree music disproportionately loud compared to your v quiet voice.
Like it , but I love any thing gray. 😀 beautiful. Nice job, you made look easy ... I have always passed on redoing a chair like these.
Beautiful work, lot of passion and love I hope to get the same expertise by the way
Beautiful ❤from Germany
Wunderschön 🥰
I think you did a wonderful job, both on the chair and your first video. Congratulations on your channel. Keep up the good work! ❤️❤️❤️🎉🎉🎈🎈

your good upholstery work I like 👍 because I am also sofamaker upholsterer
Preciosa! I tan moderna...
It turned out beautifully. I think I might do something similar in the future. :) I did make a whole upholstery book "Upholstering Methods" by "Zimmerman". Everything you did is described, but seeing it done, it gives a better look at how its done. Thank you! Greetings, Jeff
Nice job, it's beautiful. You do quality work! I would have just thrown a yard of fabric over it and used it like that.
I absolutely love your methodology and attention to detail ❤️ I’m a new subscriber ❤️
I always wanted to know how to do the back on that style of chair...Beautiful
Loved the video and gorgeous result on the chair! Congratulations! However, the sound is not good at all, it should be the opposite: your voice should be very much louder and the music should be very quiet. Maybe you can reupload it.
Nice 👌
All that boring prep work really paid off! This chair is beautiful! Well done🤩 please use eye protection when pulling old staples - I’ve had many a staple hit my glasses😳 Thank you for a great tutorial🙏
hi!, beautiful job!!! My name is Dusanka, I have 63 and I see you from south of Chile!! You get my like and suscribe!!! I love your job!
I must watch your next one.
Perfect
Lo felicito muy bonito
Thank you for the preface regarding the sound, it was absolutely dreadful! 🤣 However, I can tell you THIS is THE BEST video I have seen for up cycling/reupholstering/chalk paint of ANYTHING vintage.... I have taken courses, have learned from the best, but your video puts them to shame! Also taking into account this was your first video?! Well, kudos to you, Sir! This detailed instruction was very impressive.... I look forward to watching your other videos and being a new Subscriber. 👍🏻👏🏻 🎨

I have never made a negative comment on anyone's video? ; so, I hope this comment is received in the spirit given. The music was extremely distracting. I usually am ok with that music. I think with your calm n low voice. I found myself constantly adjusting the volume. But your work, instructions and overall video was excellent. Keep up the great work!
Loved the transformation Hared loud background music
Lovely job, well done. Unfortunately the music was too loud and detracted from my enjoyment of watching the video.

@@diywithcharlie3018 maybe try re-editing this video and just remove the music. Tbh it's just not needed and distracted from an amazing video. I actually had to mute the video and turn on cc due to the music as it was so bad. I think to many people feel like they have to add music when they really don't.
Trabalho maravilhoso 😅😅😅😅 parabéns Brasil 🇧🇷🇧🇷🇧🇷🇧🇷🇧🇷🇧🇷.
I hit subscribe when you lined the webbing with the stripes, well done. I love the attention to detail and the care you take to keep your lungs safe from the foam dust chemicals. Using embroidery scissors and cutting the back edge that way was very insightful. Loved everything but the background music 😩, however I recognize it was your first video 👍 and look forward to the next one. What kind of pneumatic staple gun is that?
What an amazing piece, the bones on this chair are amazing. Are you going to create any more videos? I noticed this was posted a year ago
Thank you!🎉
watched this a couple of years ago. i still think it is one of the better how to videos i've seen on upholstery. to bad about the music
Charlie, I loved you video and the results. Can you give me specific info on the nailhead trim? What size did you use and approximately how much did it take for that project. Thank you!
até que em fim achei o video que estava precisando rs
It would be extremely helpful if you'd list the type of staple gun you use and the size of the staples. I have a manual gun with 3/8" max staples and not sure if these will be deep enough. BTW, beautiful job on the chair!
Tres très beau travail. Ce qui me plaît le plus, c'est votre délicatesse.
The end result is beautiful! Love your attention to detail. (Background music is too loud.)
Thank you for an exceptional, well-explained chair project. What is the itemized cost for the one-chair project?
NIcely done!! For next videos, music vol down and raise your voice a lot more.
Hi did you use clear wax for finish? I love your video.
Beautiful! I love your staple gun. What type is it??
Loved the video thanks can you tell me what staple gun and compressor you use as I am just about to do my first set of 4 chairs 😬 thanks
@diywithcharlie3018

I use a long nose tax wise staple gun from Amazon with 8mm staples. My compressor is just a cheap second hand one but there’s plenty of cheap ones online to choose from
Charlie you did a nice video and explained everything down to the t yet that music was annoying. Please change your music on a future project. Thanks and that material used on the chair with stripes is awsome.
Hi, you did an amazing job! Are you able to list the names of the supplies you used? I’m a beginner so it would be helpful. Thank you for sharing your content!
Hi there, loved the video. Could I suggest listing your equipment and products used please. As it would certainly help out viewers to try and replicate your great work. Beautiful chair btw!

I love it! Would you not list it here please🙏🏻? I found the same chairs on Facebook market and I would like to use the same fabric! I’m also in the Uk. Thank you x
This chair is my style. Actually most of your projects are things I'd choose for my decor. I have 2 chairs and if I send you a picture would you mind sharing your design input? I'm trying to choose a fabric and will attempt to reupholster myself
I guess I loved the music being from the sims lol
Charlie, just stumbled on your channel. Great job on that chair! I look forward to more videos from you. DDecker
