Is that just a regular carbide scraper or a fabulous power scraper that I"ve never seen before? That finish is coming off like butter!

Yep, just a standard tungsten carbide blade! It did come off surprisingly easy! This chair has been reupholstered a few times so I’m wondering if the previous restorer used a thinner varnish.
