Untouchable, Part 1 + Part 2 - Anathema (with lyrics)

Музыка

And I feel like I knew you before
and I guess that you can hear me through this song
and my love will never die
and my feelings will always shine
and my love will never die
and my feelings will always shine
and I know that you just wanted me to belong, to someone
and I guess that now I`ll just be moving on, to someone
and my love will never die
and my feelings will always shine
and my love will never die
and my feelings will always shine
I`ve never betrayed your trust
I`ve never betrayed your faith
I`ll never forsake your heart
I`ll never forget your face
there`s a feeling that I can`t describe
there`s a reason that I cannot hide
`cause I`ve never seen a light that`s so bright
the light that shines behind your eyes
I`ve never betrayed your trust
I`ve never betrayed your faith
I`ll never forsake your heart
I`ll never forget your face
There`s feeling that I can`t describe
a reason that I cannot hide
I`ve never seen a light that`s so bright
the light that shines behind your eyes
I can`t see this life what you mean to me
when I dream, I dreamed of you
when I'll wake, tell me what I do
I had to let you go
to the setting sun
I had to let you go
to find your way back home
I had to let you go
to the setting sun
I had to let you go
to find your way back home
Why I should feel this way - Why I should feel this way
Why I should feel the same
Something I cannot say - Something I cannot say
Something I can't explain
I feel you outside
At the edge of my life
I see you walk by
At the edge of my sight
Why I should follow my heart - Why I should follow my heart
Why I should fall apart
Why I should follow my dreams - Why I should follow my dreams
Why I should be at peace
I feel you outside
At the edge of my life
I see you.. walk by
At the edge of my sight
I had to let you go
To the setting sun
I had to let you go
And find a way back home
I had to let you go
To the setting sun
I had to let you go
And find a way back home
(When I dream, I see you) - (When I dream, I see you)
I've never seen a light that's so bright - I've never seen a light that's so bright - I've never seen a light that's so bright
Blinded by the light that's inside - Blinded by the light that's inside
Blinded by the light that's inside you
I had to let you go
To the setting sun
I had to let you go
And find a way back home

People should not critise Anathema for "selling out". This is Anathema. Whether it's doom, prog or whatever. Anathema is about the feel and soul of music. Not about what type and label you want to give them.

Respect to that... Unfortunately a lot of people here not to listen to the music but rather be cynical about what genre of music it it, and for those I say: Try to enjoy the music more... Respect man..!!

The song caught me by total surprise. At first I was singing to a new girl that I recently met or one I would like to meet than later found myself singing to my wife that I loved and adored that suddenly and unexpectadly passed away 4 years ago on October 1st. Though I have tears streaming down my face I feel a bit of cleansing! This is one song I will sing along and not share with anyone. Very sad but I feel a closeness to her again and will forever with this piece!

My first love left me a couple of years ago after 18 years of being together. We used to listen to Anathema back then. Now it's become so hard to listen to these songs... they remind me so much of her and how much we loved each other. Once again, emotions are overwhelming me and tears are falling as I'm listening to this and thinking back about all the beautiful moments we shared. You'll always remain a part of me.

This song was recently shared with me by a really kool guy. Strange that you can 'know' someone all of your life and yet never really know them. You then reflect on your life and wonder, 'Why am I so odd, so weird in comparison to many others?' Then you meet someone so similar minded as yourself and the 'weird' stripes away. And the 'normal' your kind of normal sets into all of your crevices. Sometimes life picks us up from the direction we've been headed and throws us head first into 'our true place' Thank you to that awesome kool guy. He is a gem

Just discovered this band while searching through Steve Wilson's videos. Totally excellent amazing music. Their seems to be a correlation between these bands for excellent top notch music. This kind of music makes me excited as I have ever been about the talent and creativity of prog music today. Too bad those of us in the United States just do not get it. Europe and the rest of the world are miles ahead with access, concerts, and radio play with music that really matters.

I recommend you live version of "Untouchable" from Universal concert in Bulgaria, Plovdiv back in 2014. This song was the concert opening and it was incredible - this live version is much better than studio one

It seems just yesterday when I was listening to the sheer awe at the musicianship of We, the Gods and Mine is yours to drown in. Was such a beautiful expression of music I had heard. Then, they were better than their genre leaders, My Dying Bride. Nothing has changed. Anathema are still exemplary musicians with stunning songwriting and emotive elements. I loved them then, I love them now. Sensational record.

Fantastico album, molto bene la loro evoluzione e l'introduzione di una buona voce femminile li ha raffinati molto a parer mio ovviamente.

What an amazing song. Something definitely special about it. Brings a tear to my eye, and makes me smile every time I listen to it. If I am in a bad mood, this song lifts me right out of it. My best friend lost his wife years ago, and then fell in love a second time and found happiness again. Seems like this song was written for him.
