Riff is something that uses repeatition of same notes while solo is something which is straight notes on notes on notes and guess what....more notes

I think he was awestruck by the moment. Can you imagine several thousand people singing your song back to you like that? Very few people ever get that moment. I think that's why the statement he makes at the end is so profound.

One of the single handedly most moving pieces of music put to film. The pure emotion and beauty truly strikes at the core of the heart. Amazing how music knows NO boundaries, and breaks all language barriers no matter what part of the world you are in. Great does not even begin to describe this. When music can touch someone to the point of soft tears rolling down their face, there is something truly truly special there. Thank you anathema!

Its been 8 years for me. Still never lost its magic. Definitely one of the most beautifully written songs.

I have tears in my eyes whenever I think about Anathema. My personal favorite band , very underrated and so unfortunate that they got disbanded partly due to lack of funds and Dany's health. What a great talent and what a big loss to music.

Absolutely agree. Daniel cavanagh may never be considered one of the best guitarists around but the way he plays sure can give you chills.

What a beautiful solo. What a beautiful emotions flying from Anathema to the Crowd and back 6:54. One of the best versions of "Flying" ever. And this Plovdiv Orchestra.

Such a powerful song. Anathema are powerful wizards. Look at how they had that crowd hypnotized.

That solo is the musical equivalent of Maradona's goal against England in 1986!!
