Paroles : And I feel like I knew you before And I guess that you can hear me through this song And my love will never die And my feelings will always shine And my love will never die And my feelings will always shine And I know that you just want me to belong (on to someone) And I guess that now I'll just be moving (on to someone) And my love will never die And my feelings will always shine And my love will never die And my feelings will always shine I've never betrayed your trust I've never betrayed your faith I'll never forsake your heart I'll never forget your face There's a feeling that I can't describe There's a reason that I cannot hide 'Cause I've never seen a light that's so bright The light that shines behind your eyes I've never betrayed your trust I've never betrayed your faith I'll never forsake your heart I'll never forget your face There's feeling that I can't describe A reason that I cannot hide I've never seen a light that's so bright The light that shines behind your eyes- I can see this life and what you mean to me And when I dreamed, I dreamed of you Then I wake, tell me what could I do I had to let you go To the setting sun I had to let you go And find a way back home I had to let you go To the setting sun I had to let you go To find your way back home

Saw them in Kleve, Germany, where the recording of ‘Forever live’ was made. A magic night where this album was played almost in its entirety for the first time, except ‘further away’. What a night that was…. I have seen IQ many times over the years and decades. They’re still who they ever were: torchbearers, pioneers, writers of truth. Together with Twelfth Night, IQ to me presents the very best of British prog. Better than Genesis? Any day of the week….

This song was recently shared with me by a really kool guy. Strange that you can 'know' someone all of your life and yet never really know them. You then reflect on your life and wonder, 'Why am I so odd, so weird in comparison to many others?' Then you meet someone so similar minded as yourself and the 'weird' stripes away. And the 'normal' your kind of normal sets into all of your crevices. Sometimes life picks us up from the direction we've been headed and throws us head first into 'our true place' Thank you to that awesome kool guy. He is a gem

Haken is very okay, The Flower Kings have some good musical chops, but IQ stands out way ahead of the other two.
