Juan Gutierrez. Because these episodes are old mostly from the 70s or 80s and some cases are older than that which happened long time ago. I wish the producers of this show would bring back this show because it really was very good and entertaining. And IF I were the creator of “Unsolved Mysteries,” I would choose Bill Kurtis to narrate them, he still alive and he is an excellent host and narrator. FYI: Bill Kurtis was the host and narrator of the shows. “American Justice,” another great show that was taken off the air. Too bad for that.

Frankly those shows are tacky and it’s more about the shock and fear. Unsolved Mysteries was making a call to the audience to help bring justice. You don’t have a hotline for those shows. UM had a calling center. UM was also trying to help the public and expand its mind. It wasn’t only about gruesome crimes but helping adopted kids find their biological family, help friends from war reunite, and they talked about miraculous healings, UFO, NDE, communication from the other side, gov cover ups, etc. It wasn’t just about stories of people being awful.

Liz Carmichael was a trans woman and lived her life authentically as a woman. I’d like to think that if they produced this segment today they would try to cast a trans actress in the role. Nonetheless, it’s awesome the actor was game for it! It’s an iconic segment in an iconic UM episode.

Tim was arrested for Terri's murder. Some tips from the broadcast helped in the police investigation. However, in January 1993, the Nevada D.A. ultimately decided not to prosecute him. In April, a judge dismissed the case with prejudice because of problems with the evidence and Tim's estranged wife's refusal to testify. This ruling means that he can never again be arrested in this case. Terri's murder remains unsolved, although Tim remains the prime suspect. Her granddaughter has commented that much of their remaining relatives believe he killed her. They also believe that his ex-wife knows what happened but is withholding information.

This has been verified by a July 2020 article in the Athens Banner-Herald. As per the conditions of his parole, he is not to have any contact with T.K. He will remain under state supervision for the rest of his life.

Sure because selling a prototype for a car is the same as giving a phony diagnosis and having people take pills they don’t need and could cost them their life. I bet you also think mentally ill men wearing skirts are also the same as women.
I think it’s crazy. They let that lady’s killer out and he never told them what he did with her or where the body was. It said she has never been found.. and they let him out of prison? He would have sat right there, if I had anything to do with it. And on the last episode, I think that maybe Tim possibly had something to do with his mothers tragic death. He couldn’t even tell the investigators where he was the rest of the night, and he doesn’t even have his shit together, he was depending on his mother before he got married.
I believe Tim murdered his mother. Casinos 🎰 and dancing no one in the city could identify them anywhere. Unlikely story.

THE GUY FREAKING KILLED HIS MOTHER
It's not Liz but Mam here sigh...Still that Dale car looks cool though...
I often wonder if people got confused who had met (but didn’t know) some of the actors in these re-enactments and called the authorities after recognizing them from the show. It must have happened a few times…
Geraldine looks like a character out of one of Clint Eastwoods movies.
UPDATE… 2021 Liz Carmichael has her own bathroom!

The nerve of that guy! lol 😂
Anybody familiar with exotic cars would know that (a) you can't get 70 miles to the gallon, and (b) why develop a three-wheeled car for the American market when you could just license a British three-wheeled car for the US market?
