It's unbelievable how nice people used to dress back then in Germany in Europe and America, I remember my grandpa he was a simple Sheppard, no education and poor, but when going to town to buy groceries he always dressed up and my grandma had me dressed up too .

yes today in america I see teenage girls all walking around in what looks like pajamas or sweat pants. When I went to Ukraine in 1999 the girls there all had nice clothes on and stockings. like you said even if poor they still dressed up as much as they could. Now the rich kids all dress like slobs

everything was fine till 1939, going to war was not a smart move, ended very tragically for the whole nation and rest of the world as well. it reminds me of today, not much different, i hope will go for Peace this time, PLS DO ! 🌄

This movie was shot in Styria (AUSTRIA)! Dieser Film wurde in der Steiermark gedreht!

A lot of this looks to have been shot in Bavaria, probably while the Berghof was being built or expanded. If I recollect right, Goering had a place nearby and would have spent time there in the early days, say 1934 and later. I agree, the text on the screen really takes from the film.

I may have held the baton Goering was carrying. It was part of a tour that passed through El Paso/ Fort Bliss in 1981.

Interesting images but not made by amateurs and certainly not showing normal life. These are official images for the gloryfication of Uncle Hermann. So the title of this video is a bit misleading.

Everyday German life? This is mostly video of goerings private footage. Far from average German life.

Color film was very expensive back then. Average amateur photographers would have used black and white.

Goering was a charming character in his early days apparently, as well as being a war criminal. Very interesting footage. The glory days before Germany was utterly destroyed, a mass of ruins and the hungry.
