Nazi Germany Surrender | End of WW2 in Europe | Color Found Footage

During World War II, Nazi Germany, led by Adolf Hitler, engaged in a devastating conflict across Europe and parts of North Africa, committing atrocities and initiating conflicts that resulted in immense suffering and loss of life. As the war progressed and Allied forces, comprising primarily the United States, the Soviet Union, the United Kingdom, and others, gained momentum, Germany found itself increasingly on the defensive.
By early 1945, it was evident to many within the Nazi leadership that Germany was facing inevitable defeat. Allied forces had advanced deep into German territory from the west, while the Soviet Red Army had pushed in from the east, encircling Berlin. On April 30, 1945, Adolf Hitler committed suicide in his bunker in Berlin, an act symbolizing the collapse of the Nazi regime.

Germany under Hitler and his colleagues would have gone to war again ( 1939+ ) even if the terms of the 1919 Treaty of Versailles were very generous and good to Germany. Hitler was a determined warmonger. The German citizens were remarkably gullible and chose Hitler because he got the economy started again and introduced new social programs and public works. RS. "chose Hitler because he got the economy started again and introduced new social programs and public works" All of those 3 sectors you mentioned were absolutely destroyed as a result of the treaty. You are contradicting yourself within one paragraph. Chances that Hitler would've received the same amount of support are much lower if the treaty wasn't as bad as it was.

The USSR would have collapsed without the Lend-Lease Act and help from Britain (intelligence). Loss of food would have sealed the fate of the soviets (unless helped by foreign powers fighting for communism) The soviets got enough food from the USA to feed its soldiers for the rest of the war, 12 million boots , 60 percent aluminum and steel, a lot of tin , 90 percent of railway equipment ( the soviets would never have been able to conduct offensives so fast and transfer their main armies to critical points , 300000 trucks were given , 65 percent of aviation fuel and much more apart from 15 percent tanks ,aircrafts Soviet sympathizers say "only 15 per cent was given to USSR"

I had a friend when i was stationed in germany. He was an exss man who had some connections with the current security services . He told me that it was cpmmon knowledge among his people that tey were to join up with the allies and attack te russians. He said that the allies had stockpiles of weapons ready to reissue tp the germans when the signal was given. Now this belief may have had no basis in fact, but i do now fr a fact that german officers reporting with their men to attack (with their new allies) the russians. Now my friend sure believed it and im sure he was not i recall in 1956 seeing enormous piles of german rifles in warehouses in england. The caption stated churchil had them to reissue them to the germans, for the previously stated reasons. Now, my german friend said that it. Didn,t happen was that roosevelt and churchill were going to do it. But roosevelt died. Truman had no knowledge of the plan and wanted no part of it. True? ,,i dont know. But one thing i do know that enough germans believed it to be true to where it would have changed history. They are all gone now so we wilp never kn[×.

That was the biggest blunder of the Third Reich: military surrender of Wehrmacht, Waffen SS, Luftwaffe and Kriegsmarine to winners of ww2, on May 7th and 8th, 1945. Right solution would be concentration of force in south of Austria ( Alpenfestung ) and resistance to last man standing, until they got ammunition, weapons and will to fight. Like Japanese Imperial Army on Iwo Jima and Okinawa. Because, after surrender, Germans and Europa got nothing. Except occupation of USA and Russia ( USSR ) for next 45 years. And, even today is nothing better in all Germany, the Middle Europa and the rest of our Continent. What a petty for all Europeans today! What a great blunder of 20th century of all our people. So wrong! NEVER SURRENDER TO OUR ENEMIES!
