And then how to use the resulting mask in Skype or Chatroulette? There are no instructions anywhere.

For facial animation, I use Facial Action Coding System ( FACS) which is basiclly spreadsheet, muscle and emotion correlation. Works good for me in manual animation and creating face poses/blendshapes. There aren't any cool solution in terms of automatization still.

I played around with DeepFake code and Unity a few years back. Used Openface to drive a 3d character face, then ran a crude deep fake python app to superimpose Nick Cages face onto the 3D model with mouth movement. I believe deep fakes are using style gans. (generative adversarial networks). The tech has come a long way. Thanks for the video. !!!

@@princejunior34 I played around with the first version of deepfake a few years ago doing this same thing but with Unity. The technology has gotten way easier now, and also, we have MH. I keep my eye on it but don't really have a use case right now.

hi really enjoyed watching your work! Just a quick question. When i use deepfacelive, my camera source only gives me 10 fps on 1280x720 (whereas 740x480 gives me 30 fps). Do you know why this happens? Other categories (which require more H/W power) like face detector, steam output, faceswap gives me more than 60fps so i dont think my it's a H/W issue.. Do you know how to solve this issue..?! thx!

I've made an Arnold Schwarzenegger, Willem Dafoe, and now working on Patrick Stewart DF Live model. Might be fun to try applying to a metahuman. I see you're using one of those Lumix DSLR webcams. What's your opinion on those? I was looking at them the other day and considering buying one. I currently have an Logitech Brio 4k. 2:18 - My Arnold Schwarzenegger model is ~3.1 million iterations, but I've found now I can get one done in closer to 1m really. Even 500k can be relatively good with a decent batch size.

@@Jsfilmz Well it still may work for you. I trained originally with the RTM faceset (not sure if you're familiar with that or not?) for about the first 2-2.5m iterations, then switched to a faceset of myself. No harm in trying it if you want to, it's only ~800MB in the DFM format.

Hi .... how to exclude unwanted faces from deep fake live ..... If i have in the room someone behind or in the point camera view ,the application will change that person face in stead of my face .... I think the science behind this new application deep fake , must resolve also this problem with a type of face ID or something like that .

How can I Dowload the app?

Downloaded this and used the exact same settings but the kim jarrey face was always twitching and the merged view looked like crap. I was using my built in webcam so maybe that's the issue.

He said he's using an S5. With the Lumix software window I'm pretty certain it's the Lumix S5. It's a mirrorless DLSR that'll set you back about $2K.

How do you get your merged frame to show while on Zoom? When I tried the camera test using the Zoom client, the stream just shows up blank in Zoom. I can see it work fine within the DeepFaceLive app tho.
