Take a look at reallusion's character creator and it's headshot plugin. Literally import a high resolution photo of a face and the plugin will automatically mould the characters face to the shape of the imported face and then mask the original photo to the character which creates a near close digital version of the photo you imported, you can then manually drag the facial features around just like you can in metahuman to fine tune the end result. It's so highly detailed it even has skin detail when zooming in.

I use reallusion software too! The only downside is that you literally have to buy every plugin to create and animate a 3d character comfortably which was around $1000+. It was worth it tho tbh if your really passionate about it. Im still recovering from buying cc3, iclone 7, headshot plugin, motion live, AND 3d exchange just to export everything and I dont even get a free upgrade of cc4 thats releasing in 2022.

someone needs to make a program where you can just make a character, like you would in a video game, and export the model in the format you need. why is that so difficult? instead we have to download 8 different programs and sign up for as many services, and still may or may not get the options we're looking for
