Right on dude! I have an 8600 in my 5-year old Athlon 64x2, and I have never had any problems running current-gen games on it, UT3 at full included. Price? Roughly $500.

The 360 version falls in 2008.. The Ps3 version this year.. And as far as i know.. Epic Games has a optimised unreal engine 3 for ps3 running..

I hope this graphic-"wonder" will run on a good system, not on hardware who is coming in 2 years or only for expensiv gaming-pc's (or hardware). We will see.....

why are pc users worried about this one? pc graphics technology surpassed the ps3 before it came out. Not just that but the ps3 version suffers control wise (dual analogue too loose) and speed wise compared to it.

the only bad thing in the scene is the rocket effect. its horrible but the whole place...rocks!!!

at least part of it was probably real time. You can see the frame rate drop a couple of times.

I wish people would stop saying this video should be renamed Unreal Tournament 3 because that's a different game. Think about it like this: Unreal 3 is like Quake 1, 2 and 4 (Single Player Campaign With Multiplayer) Unreal Tournament 3 is like Quake 3 Arena (Arena Based Multiplayer) I hope I'm right anyway haha.

Unreal 3 is created using the Unreal 3 Engine (coincidentally named the same). It's designed for DirectX 9 (PC) the PS3 and the XBOX 360. Epic and Sony did make a deal so the PS3 will get this earlier than the XBOX, that's all, it's still going to be the same exact game on all platforms. Can EVERYONE please stop whining about this?

Dude, call this vid "Unreal Tournament 3, PS3". There was a different of games that Epic released BEFORE Unreal Tournament called "Unreal", so the way you have this titled now it sounds like an oldschool game. Please correct it; I bet more people will watch it then ;).
