to be honest, my TouTube Music recap for 2023 said Never Forget is my most listened song to in 2023.

I still hold a soft spot for "Guitar, Loneliness and Blue Planet" since it was the song that introduced me to BTR, my top 3 will always be "If i could be a constellation" at n°1, "Rockn' Roll, Morning Light Falls on you" at n°2 (still makes me want to cry a little) and "Guitar, Loneliness and Blue Planet" at top 3 But overall, all songs are amazing, and i have all of them in my playlist :P

To me, all of the songs are S-tier and "If I Could be a Constellation" is my most favorite of them (Wow! we're the same!). As a drummer, the beats are funky and groovy, I'm more of a hi-hats guy and I have fun playing it. The bass are freaking slaps! Bass are really amazing instrument. As a guitarist "If I Could be a Constellation" also my most favorite. a pre-chorus lick is so catchy so i have to play it repeatly every day, chord strumming is really fun to play. its just like im addicted to this song

Karakara was an instant favorite of mine; the ED visuals, the melancholic vibe, and Mizuno Saku's voice just blended together so well Edit: Seiza ni naretara would be tied, it's hard choosing between the two. I just can't get enough of those drums

I absolutely agree with it, if you liked "kara kara" i recomend you the band "Tricot". Due that is one the tricot's guitarrist who wrote the song, and summarazing is an amazing song that plays with different times signatures without losing the japanese pop-rock feeling.

I would 1000% put Rockin' Roll, Morning Light in S-tier. Even if it is a cover it fits Bocchi's story and character so well that I see it as HER song much like how If I could be a constellation is Kita's, for me it transcends past being just a cover because of that and is my favorite on this list (the last stretch of it always makes me cry). Never Forget is also S-tier, I think musically it fits in with the high A-tier songs but those lyrics just cut deep man, it gave me a whole new perspective when I rewatched the Ep 12 performance. Overall my list would be S: Rockin' Roll, Morning Light Falls on You, If I could be a constellation, Into the Light, Never Forget, Guitar, Loneliness and Blue Planet, Karakara A: Seisyun Complex, Distortion, That Band, Blue Spring and Western Sky, Flashbacker B: What is Wrong With, Secret Base, I can't sing a love song, HitoriBocchi Tokyo C: The Little Sea Need more videos like these, I would love to see you analyze any of the songs on their own.

i didnt really appreciate this one for months after hearing it, but since then its become one of my favorites. i love the math rock vibes and the melody really grew on me.

imo seisyun complex ano bando and never forget are all s tier worthy but for the most part i can agree on everything else. simply the 3 are utter bangers to listen to, never forget on the guitar is a masterpiece ano bando just goes way too hard to be worthy of any less and seisyun complex executes something simpler than some other songs perfectly (just my opinion tho so A tier still very fine for them)! we agree on almost everything else though and for that this tier list has earned the OFFICIALLY BASED rank. congratulations + subbed

I’d personally put never forget in S tier especially because of the feeling that it encapsulates, but also about how I think alot of people would relate to the song since theres a sense of nostalgia. Its pretty similar in terms of vibes to songs like Tek It, 505 and Notion where it captures the feeling of thinking back on the memories of highschool you had along with friends although knowing there’s no going back.

Honestly, this show has so many good songs. There's not a single one that's bad, and i like so many of them. Man, i absolutely love you analysis of this! Something I love about bocchi is just how much care and effort was put into every tiny detail of it. As you can see with the music, they composed songs that portray much of bocchi's emotions through the lyrics and the musical aspects of the instruments. The most clear example being bocchi's lyrics for guitar loneliness and blue planet showing how bocchi wants to be seen and acknowledged then later on you see her lyrics in never forget showing how she's gone from wanting to remember these joys of her youth in high school rather than wanting to drop out. And this is just the musical aspect of it, bocchi can be broken down into tiny little things with the animation, story, individual characters, voice actors, ect, and this is what makes bocchi what it is, it's the product of an entire production team's care and love. The fact that bocchi is still so popular and being analyzed and adored a year and a half after it started airing just speaks for itself on how huge of an impact bocchi had. I genuinly love this anime so damn much

It's rare for an anime, yet alone an anime adaptation to be this well produced. It'll take a while for another show to sweep and win the hearts of many. “That Band” makes me cry every time Iisten to it. Probably my favorite! Resonating with Bocchi probably plays a part in it, but it’s very raw and emotional as you said. Kessoku Band has always been a comforting push (in my eyes) to go on with life, but not in a … *MOVE ON THIS SECOND!!!GO. GO!!!* way. (Like how Never Forget has a lyric that says something along the lines of, “I’m not in the springtime of life, and that’s okay.”) But that aside, this is awesome?! I need to check out your other Bocchi The Rock videos, because your narration style has a way of both being very entertaining and very calm at the same time. I was initially nervous because tier ranking videos can either be EXTREME roasts or just compliments, but I like how you gave good commentary on each of the songs and explained what parts of the song you liked or disliked!

Amazing video! You explained every song really well in details and I agree with most of the tier list. Personally I'd put Rockn' Roll, Morning Light Falls on You in S tier just because I have a sentiment towards AKFG and the lyrics really fit Bocchi's character. Also I'd put The Little Sea in S tier. A little biased but the lyrics really speak to me. I love the slow pace of this song and it's simply my favorite one.

It may not mean much, but you just earned a subscriber. You've done an amazing job at expressing what makes each song beautifully arranged in great detail. You've even changed my opinions on some songs. I used to hate Guitar to Kodoku to Aoi Hoshi(Wakusei), but explaining it objectively makes me realize how incredible it really is. Still pissed that Watashi dake Yuurei's only A tier, but like GODDAMN this is based af. I'm really impressed on how much restraint you have for putting everything on S, which is unfortunate, but very reasonable. Bocchi the Rock! is undoubtedly my favorite anime, so it feels amazing to hear someone else being just as passionate as I am about it. Also please make Into the Light analysis. I would love to see that

I guess at least we all agree on this: every song is awesome I also wanted to say that the bass line from kara kara at 4:38 is actually slap, so technically I won’t forget isn’t the only song with slap bass. Kara kara is one of my favorite songs too, and I love the bass line because it’s constantly changing throughout the entire song. Loved the vid man, keep it up!!

For me I would've switched the places of Blue Spring and Western Sky with Into the Light (because I LOOVE the follow-up riff of the guitars) (also I'd recommend checking out Koiki na Bye Bye by indigo la End, it's not the same but the two guitars complete each other so good in that song!) I can't sing a love song with Secret Base (Secret Base just hits my summer melancholy feels) Guitar, Loneliness and Blue Planet with Rockn' Roll, Morning Light Falls on You (AKFG's lyrics feel more emotional for me) pretty solid tier list though. Looking forward to your future Bocchi content!

I just found out about your channel and immediately shown a banger of a video, i dont usually comment on videos but you made me put my own 2 cents because its Bocchi Now personally my own S tiers are constellation, never forget, seishun, distortion and rock n roll. I became obssessed with the shows music and i have to learn everything i can and there was a point of time where i was just listening to never forget for a month and then the show reintroduce AKFG for me. I knew AKFG because of their Op in Anime like Re:Re from Erased to Haruka Kanata from Naruto to Rewrite from FMA And with Rockn' Roll Morning Light Falls on You has captivated me on being a lifetime fan. I have gone through their whole discography like a madman and there's an album that I love to death and I highly recommend to whomever reads it. Please listen to Fanclub, if not the whole album then maybe Blue Train at least. This show and its music really helped me to keep going and appreciate things better. PS. My favorite song is Into the light and I'm glad it was included in the video. The best part of the song imo was in the chorus when Ikumis (kita's VA) vocal notes rose like going up to the sky like reaching into the light is what I felt like and it always giving me chills!

My top three would be Karakara, If I could be a constellation, and That Band. Especially THAT BAND because I adore that song so much. Your elaboration for the intro captures what I feel abt it so well. Everything about this song resonates so well with me from the lyrics, vocal, to the sound of the instrumentals. Karakara is also a very strong one but I still adore That Band WAY MORE it's an SS tier for me along with Karakara. Along with those three, I would put Flashbacker and Watashi Dake Yuurei on S tier. Watashi Dake Yuurei literally made my jaw drop on first listen it was so mind blowing and as you said, it's such an introduction to a music genre. This is such a great video! Glad to find this because Bocchi the Rock just won't leave my mind.

I pre-ordered the full album before the anime even finished airing because the music was so good. First time I've ever done that, and I don't regret it one bit. As a Ryo enjoyer, Karakara and Constellation are my favorites and I'm glad to see agreement there. I'm not a super musical person even though I listen to music a lot but this show and album hit me like a truck and I began looking into more indie J-rock bands because of this. My favorite discovery into this foray is this very indie band called Stereogirl. "Breaking into the Space" is their best song IMO and if the stars align, I hope I can listen to them live in some tiny music venue not unlike Starry

Interesting take coming from someone bass-inclined I think the instrument someone mainly plays influences their taste in music. I mainly play guitar (decent only, not really good, but can play fairly well), and there are some bocchi songs that are so fun to play in guitar. Anyway here is my ranking: S Tier 1. If I Could be a Constellation (you're so based for making it you're favorite track) (+ literally a perfect song) 2/3. Guitar, Loneliness, and Blue Planet (godly music also) 2/3. Never Forget (Guitar is godly) 4. That Band (Guitar also) A Tier 5. Karakara 6. Seishun Complex 7. Into the Light 8. Morning Light Falls on You (This was previously my 2nd fav, but at some point got bored of it) 9. Blue Spring and Western Sky 10. What's Wrong 11. Distortion 12. Hitori Bocchi Tokyo 13. Yeah, I'm more inclined to bass heavy songs. So it definitely plays a role in your rankings depending on what instrument you play. Thanks for sharing your list! And salamat!! :DD

Secret base being the first B hurt my soul. It is my S if not SS, it is really not that impactful, but secret base makes me feel somehow comfortable. It is some nice and catchy melody that never fails to make me feel great, without much experimentation in the instruments or the melody, it is the usual happy and energyzing vibe that makes me feel right at home. Also in the chorus there are these voices harmonizing with Nijika that fill me with inmense joy. I might be on copium but maybe it used a safe formula as to simulate the safe feeling of being in your own world. Also, not related to the songs anymore, but to the video itself, there was background music being played while also playing the instruments of each song, maybe it is just me but it got mixed in my ears the intrument I was supposed to listen to and the background music. Great video still, agreed with almost everything!

With your take, I think I treated secret base very harshly lol. It now makes perfect song for a "safe" song to be titled secret base. The composition and lyrics fit perfectly. Sorry lol. And regarding the bg music, it's necessary to prevent copyright. But in future videos where I'll analyze each single, I'll try to improve the audio balancing. Appreciate the feedback, and comment. I originally had I can’t sing a love song as my favorite and then idk one day flashbacker, just hit so hard, it has been my favorite by far, every song is amazing in its own way, but to me flashbacker just sits in that spotlight

Personally, I would put Wasurete Yaranai and blue spirng and western sky in S. I can't stop myself seeing Kita's smile whenever I hear it as well as clap to the intro beat. For Blue spring and western sky it gives the roadtrip bgm kinda vibe and I love it.

I remember thinking Never forget was kinda just a tropey school festival track but the more i listened to it the more it grew on me. For me its up there right behind Never Forget and and That Band as one of my favorite songs.

11:34 Basically, my headcanon is that the whole Kessoku Band album is from the future where Bocchi already has enough confidenceto record a song with her own vocals. And it would make sense for this song to be one of her favourites, which would make it a perfect song for her to make a cover on.

Well no matter how you find songs good youll have favorites you love and which hits you different. What is important is respect others likes. My are Seiza ni Naretara and Rock'n Roll Morning Light Falls on You. And ftom endings Nani ga Warui. Happy New Year. On last day i was checking details on Frieren anime and found Frieren is voiced by same seiyuu as Anya SpyxFamily. Shocking. But then i also see Vivy in Flourite Eye's Song which makes sense now.

The biggest thing in this video is, that i discovered aisan kungdu generatio. I neither knew the band nor that kessoku bando covered one of their songs. The songs from Asian kungfu generation are really cool and some, obviously, remind me a lot of the bocchi songs, wich makes them extra great.
