While certain medications and hormonal imbalances can contribute to weight gain, the main reason for fat accumulation is overeating and the way our bodies process carbohydrates. Carbohydrates and Blood Sugar: Carbohydrates break down into sugar during digestion, causing blood sugar levels to rise. Insulin, a hormone produced by the pancreas, helps transport this sugar from the bloodstream into cells for energy. Storage of Glucose: Cells and tissues have a limited capacity to store glucose. When they are full, the liver stores excess glucose as glycogen for later use. Some glucose can also be stored in muscles. However, if glucose intake exceeds storage capacity, the liver converts it into triglycerides and stores it as body fat in adipose tissues. Importance of Muscle Building: Increasing muscle mass allows for more glucose storage and utilization during workouts, preventing its conversion into fat. Regular exercise, especially muscle-building activities, helps to burn stored glucose and fat. Insulin and Fat Burning: To unlock fat cells and burn stored fat, insulin levels need to be low. Addressing emotional factors alongside lifestyle changes can lead to better weight management. Age and Metabolism: As individuals age, metabolism tends to slow down. However, incorporating muscle-building exercises can help counteract muscle wasting and maintain a healthy metabolic rate. Age should not be seen as a limiting factor for weight management. Balanced Approach: Extreme measures are not necessary for fat loss.     Hmmmm. This is all v well. Yet the best weight loss I have ever achieved has been on a WFPB diet, which is high carb, low fat diet. BUT you eat COMPLEX CARBS. NOT junk simple carbs like sugar, cakes, crisps (chips) etc. And no hunger. I lost over 30kg. Just saying.

    good video............lots of knowledge. I wish though that you don't try so hard to ape an american accent. A dead giveaway on this video was you pronouncing "herb" as an indian would and then correcting yourself to repronounce it as "erb" - as an American would. Why would anyone want to fake an American accent for an Indian audience - just don't get it.
