@@toryfox4580 It's nearly impossible to win a duel against an equal opponent (sword vs sword) when they are wearing plate and you aren't. You have to hit a tiny gap, they just have to hit... you.

@@lordcirth oh I'm not saying it's easy but if you are quick and control the distance your odds are better than fighting him head on, when I've fought medieval style I avoid heavy armors because I'm quicker than I am strong, you never take a heavily armored enemy head on you fight him from a safe distance, forcing him to lunge at you, when his blade misses and he is over extended you strike, in the armpit, along his midriff where the plates join, behind the knee where the armor is only thin leather and maybe some chain etc...that way you at least have a chance

I've died a lot no doubt about it. But you cant beat the sword of Artorias or the Red Dragons tail spike once they are max.

I am extremely disappointed that i only heard of Unleash the Archers recently and not when they released their first album cause this music is insanely therapeutic. Can't go a day without listening to one of your songs. Please keep on making amazing music.

+Hugo Lalumiere Actually by the late middle ages this was fairly common armor among men at arms. As for it being about status? no, never was about status. A successful full time soldier could afford plate armor after a few years of service. Swords were about status because only knights could wear them publicly during peace time.

I love finding bands like this by complete accident. It makes me very, very happy. Such a hauntingly beautiful song about a man driven insane by the murder of his lover, but still grasping to maintain his humanity as he reaps chaos and destruction.

a lot of jokes, for the helmet, for the story... but I think that song is different , starting with solo, then we got very beautiful vocal and screaming back vocals , cool breakdowns and again cute vocal . of all the avarage metal that i have listened.. this one caught my attention and is .. There was no where to run. They were at the coast..it's logical the knight had a horse and could outrun you. The husband tried to buy his women time, but she threw it away in grief and got skewered. She wouldn't have got far cold and wet anyway.

It is such a blessing that this band has made it this far on their own, without the (help) of a record label. At this point, the worst thing they could do is sign a deal with a label. They have gained enough exposure on their own, with good old fashioned HARD WORK. Now with digital distribution, the labels can't do anything for you that you can't already do for yourself. Stay independent UTA!

Damn I've never listened to old UTA.... I hate to say it but I like this better. The mix of clean & dirty vocals is so good.

General of the "dark army". The dude is completely alone next to a river in the woods. More like General of two dark armies and two dark leggies.

Very refreshing to hear a female singer that can actually belt, and not rely on super high-notes they sometimes hit, or the 'damaged goods screaming' routine. Don't know how I missed you guys for so long, but I'm a fan now!

This track may still be my favorite of theirs despite how much more complex and advanced their material has become.

I love Release the Archers! I stumbled across them at work while listening to random music. I now own every CD of theirs! Semblant is awesome too!

This is what really got me into UtA. I always come back to it. I will admit after my show got cancelled, I was devastated, and didn't listen to the group for a while. But this is my favorite band of all time, which had Rush at the top. I will always come back to you UtA. Thank you.

every time i hear this song, it almost brings me to tears every time. amazing..!!!!

I showed this to a few of my non-metalhead friends and they even liked it 🔥🔥🔥

so glad i took a break from watching my little pony to check this out! well worth it!

Really cool song, I love symphonic/operatic metal, it holds true to the ancient roots of the genre. Gotta share something though.. when the first shot of the band came up I thought for a minute they were going to do the "Crab Walk" like the guy in Immortal. Thank the Metal God they did not. LoL.

***** Abbath did the crabwalk because he knows that the black metal scene is as hilarious as this movement.

Just watching this after they released their Abyss video just to appreciate how far they've come.

since i am only just seeing this for the first time i hope this band is still together making great music her voice is awesome

It took a few listens, but this song really grew on me. :3 I hope to hear more from this band, as well as hope that eventually people stop comparing new music to what has come before and just enjoy it for what it is. ... lofty goals, I know.

Everything about this band kicks ass. Musically flawless, astounding vocal performance, and she's hot to boot! Doesnt have to be scantily clad to attract my attention. Hopefully they hit the Boston area someday, I'd stand in line in a blizzard to see these guys!

***** Yup.. I listen to all kinds of music. Gotta say still love that song too.. oh what.. did you think you were going to offend me? Make me back down? lol.. dude..Annihilator is one of my favorite bands,from underground rap to even some country (old country really) This singers voice is flat, its not a bad song.. but she really does sound flat to me. Katy Perry actually can sing, as she has proven. There are far worse examples of people who cannot sing.. nicki minaj for one.
