It's all about the U dadecounty

Some people would say this is unsportsmanlike and doesn't belong in the game ... I however love it, If you don't want the opposing team taunting and celebrating don't let them score or stuff you in the backfield. The Canes of the late 80s early 90s had enough swagger for 20 teams ... I'm too young to have seen any of the games in person or live on tv but since I seen a tape a few years ago I cant get enough. God I hope the NCAA collapses and players can express themselves again.

The most exciting football team of ALL time!! I was fortunate to have grown up in Miami in the 80s, was a crazy and special place.

The whole damn thing is a HIGHLIGHT video, with the best celebrations in the NCAA history!!!

These guys are the reason there are celebration panalties now. 80s Canes = Legendary lol I think Randall Hill easily had the best celebrations. He puts Ochocinco and T.O. to shame

Even as a middle aged guy I STILL love the passion and the intensity these guys played the game. Wow man. Hearing the music and the slapping 5, dancing, and celebrating.

Back when college football was allowed to be fun

The taunts, dancing rules came after this, the guys in three piece suits did not expect Kids from MIAMI to be so good, they didn't see them winning on this level, they were under estimated, not only did they come in winning they were embarrassing their opponents and having fun doing it, with their taunting and dancing, the Grownups in three piece suits didn't like it so they said Enough!!! And made rules for taunting and celebrating. Did not stop MIAMI from winning a national championship tho!!😂 I really enjoyed watching MIAMI back then they where really EXCITING to watch. MUCH LUV FOR THE U!!!

@H Rel I'm not going to say that, but yeah the State of Florida is a different Breed!!! Nothing but talent!!! I'm not taking nothing from Saban tho, Saban is a furious Coach and recruiter, he proved that at LSU, however Bama got bless with him, when the NFL came and got him out of LSU to the Miami Dolphins, they knew he was special, but the bad thing for Saban was... GROWN men don't listen and to much money is going around the NFL, it's a different game. You making calls on the field, big wheels making calls off the field, big difference!!! Back to college he go, Bama pick him up... LSU didn't realize Les Miles national championship came off Nick SABAN recruits.... Bama running!!! Years later Nick Saban with 6 are 7 TITLES at Bama.🤣 But I do believe LSU, FLORIDA, GEORGIA, AUBURN, ALL GOING TO RISE AGAIN, as for the ACC I'M LOOKING AT THE U, CLEMSON, & FLORIDA STATE (IF THEY CAN FIND THE RIGHT COACH).

So, that's what they mean by "just have fun!" lol!!!

The 1st team celebration was too funny. These guys are crazy, and brought the swag that, has since spread throughout sports period. All you fans of other teams that aren't good, or eve that are.....stop hating. This was entertainment and nothing more, do leave Miami alone, because I guarantee that you favorite team in the mid, to late 80's and early 90's wouldn't have done jack to them, unless your team plays in Tuscaloosa.

UM is basically the originators ...not trying to live on past glory , were looking back on what is classic stuff.....no stats are being looked at , just the celebrations , miami was one of the most flamboyant teams back back in early 90s.. They were the ones who overdid it and did it enuff to insue penalties.....UM n FSU ......dont hurt i live just south of miami ....

Many times it's worth getting the penalty. When a sack is made on third and short and knocks the offense out of field goal range, hell yah the defense should celebrate they earned it.

When you win alot and celebrate, people tend to get their feelings hurt and cry for rule changes instead of building a better team. Kind of like the Patriots minus the celebrations.

@rahbeanz164 dude FSU was the first team in history to win a wire to wire NC! Miami did not beat us in 99, no one did. You are thinking about 200 when we lost to Oklahoma due to Minnis being suspended for the game & threw our offense off.
