This Desoto team was talented, it's a shame they didn't go to state that year.

It's funny when people talk about Allen and how their school is sooo good. With over 5,000 kids in ya'lls school ya'll should win State every year. Break that shit into 2 or 3 schools and Allen will never be heard from again in the State championship talk. Desoto has 2,000 give or take? Same with the Planos.

duece gray I'm dumb? No you're the dumbass lmao no school in Texas is even close to 7,000 students. And the fact Allen and the Plano schools don't have 20 Championships just shows how bad they are. And no, I'm not even from Desoto. I'm just making a clear and true statement. Allen damn near doubles Desoto in enrollment and they still produce more talent. No ones making excuses either dumbass, it's called a fact. Like I said before, add another school and Allen would never be heard from again. Im not quite sure if i understand ur point. I mean this in the most respectful way possible just fyi. I mean allen is literally not allowed to split because of municipal and school board decisions, but lets say they did. And if so, u are right allen football would decline. But in ur point of view, how does that make allens current achievements any less meaningful? I mean if u stack allen up to a bigger school like plano east, allen is better in most things sports. Personally, i believe that a formula for a good area for football begins with good coaches. And the other stuff comes next.

I wanna say its because the last team to have so much swag and passion about their football team was the original "U" from back in the 80's. So its like Desoto is saying they are the new school "U" football team. Just like miami back in the day sometimes it look like schools be scared to play desoto. Other than Allen and southlake carroll they been waxin dat ass.

First of all Allen who was the undisputed #1 team in TX in 2013 needed a 15 pt 4th QR comeback to beat desoto and only ended up winning by 1 TD after desoto caught a bad break with a punt hitting one of their players legs and allen recovering. So obviously they are pretty darn close to #1 in the state, #1 allen was lucky to escape with a victory and desoto probably should have won had it not been for some bad breaks, desoto was definitely the more talented team. And you want to talk about the TOTAL number of D1 players produced? You are aware that TX has a population of 26.06 million, and FL has a population of 19.32 million, so yeah I would expect TX to produce more players. Now you want to talk per capita? FL produces 1.69 FBS recruits per 100k people, TX produces 1.41 FBS recruits per 100k people.
