Hoping to clear up some of the confusion in the comments section here - this was part of my application from last year. For those of you who aren't aware, I was accepted to UofM and I currently attend the SLP grad program there. I just posted this so that new applicants could have an idea of what the school is looking for. Feel free to ask me any questions about the program!

Hello Hailey! Congrats! Thank you for your videos. I transferred from a CC in the bay area and am now majoring in linguistics. Transferring has been super rough as it was a big adjustment. I was quarter at my CC and now I'm on semester which is a big change. Your content has been very helpful for me to preview what I'm studying for the next two years. My dream for years was to be an ESL teacher but I've also developed an interest in speech pathology from your videos and a few others. I wish you luck at the University of Memphis!

Hey there! Local memphian here. I came across your video and am interested in pursuing the same degree. Do you have any recommendations for someone like me who has been out of college for quite some time? I look to apply for the fall classes here.

Oh hey! So sorry that I am just seeing this. The UofM CSD program is very welcoming of people with other academic backgrounds and people making career changes. I had a lot of classmates who were in their 30's and 40's and who were doing this as their second (or third!) career.
