We have this for. along time using Logitech and we can switch from different OSes not only devices.

I’ve been waiting for this for sooooo long, it’s an amazing feature for people (like me) who like to work with the Mac and iPad side to side and feel the struggle from switching the keyboards. It appears that the Os's on all devices either all have to be Monterey or more current than High Sierra, because I don't see those parameters on my i5 Mac, but I do on my i7 with Monterey. Great tutorial though. Thanks.

thanks dude i didnt even know this think existed before this video. i use mini mac to lg monitor and iMac on the side this would benefit me so much without having to turn one off to do screensharing, i can just do work on the mac mini n drag it to the iMac for color accuracy. does it auto connect any devices next to you or only devices that are registered with same email login? you think we can ever do this with windows pc n macs?

Hey can you check and see if it works with a usb connection? I can use it with blue tooth.

Will it work with wired peripherals?

I am testing Universal Control now and the connection is seamless but typing on the iPad isn't great because the command key isn't working. Obviously, it's in Beta so I am sure they will fix that problem.

Can someone explain me what's the real use case of this feature? I mostly stay at my home's setup so I just need to connect to a normal screen, or I can simply head to school and connect to one of the lab's computer.

I may be alone in the world on this, but I just don't see a compelling use case. Yeah...it's a pretty cool feature, but I think it's overhyped. I don't see myself taking advantage of it that much.

Hi, I have a Mac mini m1 (master keyboard and trackpad) and MacBook Pro M1 (slave). Curious if you could test this and let me know if you're seeing the same behavior. When I move over to my MacBook and go into the messages app the 2 finger scroll is super slow. It's pretty annoying. Can you tell me if you're seeing the same? Would appreciate it. This happens weather I'm over the air or plugged in with a cable bet I he two. Thanks!

This type of seamless intagaration can be possible because apple has the control over hardware and software.... They can do Wonders with that.... 💥💥💥 Thats why apple is known for their ecosystem
