Works seamlessly with the ipad but not with my macbook (im using a Desktop Mac). Anyone knows a possible solution?

I’ve been having trouble with my universal control. I have an M1 MacMini and an M2 Air. Everything was working fine until the new update. Ever since than I have been having constant problems using this feature. I called in several times and they pretty much told my that I would have to wait until the next update to “see” if the problem was fixed. Not cool…

I use two keyboards, English and Korean and when I use my Mac keyboard on my ipad it types 1 letter in English and another in Korean and so on. Anyone has a fix for this?

This is EXTREMELY unreliable for me, I have to do multiple reboots of the laptop and iPad, I have to turn "Cursor and Keyboard" off on the iPad, then power it off, then power it back on, turn it back on, only then it.. sometimes appears. But then you put the iPad to sleep, next day, it's not working anymore. It's also not working on our office wifi. Does this work reliably for you, or are you also getting these glitches?

And my keyboard shortcuts wont run and not even the shift button so i cant type symbols .

I don’t get this. Why the hassle of universal control for moving files from the iPad to the iMac when the same file is already there in Files on both devices?

That was just one example. It also works with other apps that have files.

1. Click on your Mac's Apple icon. 2. Select System Preferences. 3. Click Displays. 4. Click Universal Control.... 5. Uncheck Allow your cursor and keyboard to move between any nearby Mac or iPad. 6. Click Done.
