UNITED STATES AIR FORCE FIRST FEMALE F35 DEMO PILOT - KRISTIN "BEO" WOLFE - AVIATION NATION 2022 4K

After a recent visit to Sanicole air show in Belgium and witnessing Kristin “BEO" Wolfe's incredible F35A display it was on right to catch up again as soon as I could. After spending a few days filming low level jets in California we headed up to Las Vegas for Aviation 2022. I’ve filmed not only the display but Beo carrying out her final checks around her aircraft along with her own pre flight preparations.
Major Kristin Wolfe is the Commander, F-35A Lightning II Demonstration Team, 388th Fighter Wing, Hill Air Force Base, Utah. The mission of the F-35A Lightning II Demonstration team is to showcase the unique aerial capabilities of the Air Force’s most advanced 5th generation multi-role stealth fighter, the F-35A Lightning II, as well as highlight the history of the Air Force’s service through heritage formation flights.
Major Wolfe entered the Air Force in 2011 after receiving her commission from the U.S. Air Force Reserve Officer Training Program at the University of Alabama. She is an experienced fighter pilot with more than 800 flying hours in the F-22A Raptor and F-35A Lightning II. Her flying assignments include Undergraduate Pilot Training at Laughlin AFB, Texas, and fighter training in the F-22A at Langley AFB, Va., and operational assignments at Langley AFB, Va., and Hill Air Force Base, Utah.

I can not imagine how proud her dad, mom, husband & children must be. ❤❤
We had the privilege of seeing her final flight as the commander of the F-35 demo team at the Sanford Orlando Air Show at the end of October, 2023. Amazing performance. As she taxied in to show center at the conclusion of her flight, the airport fire department had 2 trucks positioned to provide a water arch in tribute as she taxied underneath. They also bought her family out to meet her as she climbed down from the cockpit, but not before her ground crew chased her around the aircraft, dousing her with water, or maybe “sparkling water” of some sort. My understanding is that this is a tradition in the USAF when a commander takes his or her last flight with the team. Godspeed Major Wolfe!

Heck yeah you know she does. My daughter is a 21 yr old F16 crew chief and I’m the proudest papa on the planet. I can’t imagine how proud this woman’s daddy is!

Thank you Kristin for your service! My father was a Navy pilot during the Korean war. He flew the F4U Corsairs off the USS Saipan. He was shot down twice but luckily for me and me brothers and sisters, he survived. We all served and were proud to do so. I wanted to be a pilot like my dad but my eyesight was just too bad and I was too short. This is what our great country is all about. Great people and patriots who are willing to sacrifice everything to defend our people and our country. I live in the greatest country on the face of the Earth and could not be more grateful.

I don't know how I ended up going down this g force/fighter pilot rabbit hole, but I'm glad I did. This is the most awe-inspiring, badass thing I've seen in a while!

What "barriers"? Women have been flying for a hundred years almost. Now days anytime one becomes a pilot it's like it's such a novelty. You can bet she's part of a quota operation in this case, though.

I worked on an air base with these and older planes when women were breaking into this field. I have so much respect for their talent . They must be very good to smash through that glass ceiling. I couldn't even start that thing, and she made it look so easy. My hats off to you young lady.

Love the demo that the F35 puts on! She is really scooting and very comfortable pushing that airplane around the sky! If you've never seen an F35 demo flight, they are very entertaining and very, very loud!!

I got to see USAF Major Wolfe fly this F-35 in the Wings Over South Texas air show at NAS Kingsville, Texas in April 2022. It was a very impressive performance indeed. This first part she flies in this video was done halfway through her performance when I saw her. She flew past us on the edge of the runway about one hundred feet off the deck at subsonic speeds. Having been honorably discharged from the US Army since June 1991 I saluted her and the other military pilots, including her F 35 partner and the Blue Angels team, as they fly by. Air shows have special meaning for me.

We got four comming to the Volaria air show in province of Quebec in Canada. Thunderbirds as well. Thank you to the US airforce for these great planes at a great air show. We should be getting our first f-35s in about 2 years.

"Stealth" is electronic only. No "magic skin" can ever mask a fighter's jet engine, they're much larger than those in an airline. The F-35 is a rip-off. Solution? Female and other Distractions.

I have a pilots license, for me one of the most strictest challenge in my lifetime, as not being a very good school student, for this gal to strap herself in an F35 is earned, it wasn't just given to her, she earned every bit of it, congrats.
