Union Pacific 844 - Houston Arrival on 10/26/2012
UP 844 led the UP150 Anniversary Special Train into Houston, Texas on a windy, and mostly cloudy, October 26, 2012. This video begins at New Caney, about 25 miles northeast of Houston, with a 60mph run-by of the 844. It continues with a meet between the UP special and Amtrak train #2 at the Tower 26 interlocking in Houston. There are several segments with the 844 passing right next to the camera. After remarks by Houston Mayor Annise Parker, a final segment shows the 844 dragging out of the Houston depot in order to spot the train and locomotive for servicing.

Great footage of the 844!!!!! Darn I wish I was there, but I had school that day.
That year i forgot about it being there that day. But if i was there, here's my exciting scenario.
I saw 844 in Fort Worth just a little before these vids.
Nice footage! Question: That series of moves thru Tower 26 for Amtrak #2, is that routine?
It kills me that I missed this.
