Underwater Navigation (Why we DON'T just use a Compass!)

When we talk about underwater navigation while scuba diving it’s often a focus on just one thing, like how to use a compass, but in practice superior navigation is the combination of several things including using a compass, natural navigation, something called cognitive mapping, and/or physical mapping.
In this video, we talk about combining different underwater navigation techniques while scuba diving at a dive site called Truck Lagoon on the west end of St. Croix in the US Virgin Islands.
