It legit used to scare the shit out of me when I was little and they’d do a close up under his hat, and the camera used to catch him rolling his eyes. That man terrified me when I was a kid.

I really appreciate how Chris asks about some of the more obscure things that us wrestling nerds really dig. I don't think I've ever seen Taker be asked about the eye rolling before. Typically it's interview after interview with him being asked about throwing Mick Foley off the cell or changing into the American Bad Ass, etc, so I really appreciate how CVV digs deep and gets so much interesting content from his guests.
I can listen to undertaker stories so much. It’s so awesome when he tells you about it.
Some of the best things happen by accident that eye roll thing is iconic scared the shit out of me as a kid and when I grew up I thought it was metal af I’m glad he stuck with it that entrance when he takes off the hat chefs kiss 👌

It was intensely competitive and nobody wanted to side with a sinking ship Marks character was a bit goofy, but his investment and dedication made it arguably the most popular gimmick in wrestling entertainment, period, with the only one close being Sting

The Undertaker character is a work of art. I genuinely believe it elevates pro wrestling to fine art when it's this good.
The Undertaker one of the Mount Rushmore of wrestling GOATs: Stone Cold Steve Austin, The Rock, John Cena, The Undertaker
My childhood
Which is why finishers should be FINISHERS and if someone kicks out of one, it should be a rare occurrence. I.e. once only every couple years, max. The struggle should be for a wrestler to hit a finisher or not. That's the storytelling tension of a finisher.
I could watch Undertaker interviews all day! 🙌🏻
Greg Valentine! The Hammer, folks 🍻🍻
I learned how to do it when I was in elementary. I was so excited to show my friends at school when we would talk about wrestling 😂😂. Good times.
Ik the exact clip he's talking about. It gets played on lots of undertaker vignettes the wwe would use.
The Undertaker gave me the fear because of this ability.
iv been waiting my whole life for someone to finally ask this question!
That was a good add-on to The Undertaker's persona
I first learned I could roll my eyes when my mom asked me a dumb question when I was 12
Havent looked up taker in a while and now this videos up fuck yeah bro !
10-1-1991 was the match in case anyone was wondering.
Undertaker ain't no grave that will hold that body down
Perhaps the greatest taunt of all time
Always wondered this my entire life and it's finally been answered
His voice is so weird normal compared to his dead man voice.
Imagine he unable to roll it back.
Finishers need to be protected like Undertaker’s tombstone. That’s probably one of the biggest problems in wrestling nowadays. Only matches like HHH vs Undertaker, stakes high, tension even higher. However countering finishers or getting out of them, or with a submission having it not locked in yet. Once it goes through, rarely should anyone kick out of or get out of a finisher.
To when I was a kid I had friends that use to do that all the time and older people it was crazy how some people could do it so easily I never was able to do it like how others or taker did it.
Nice when things work out like that.
Who you know that can wear dominatrix attire and not a soul questions it ??? The Undertaker , that’s who
I like that he drinks beer, cheers deadman 🍻
It took me 16 years at the time from 2004 to 2020 for me to learn how to roll my eyes in the back of my head all my friends at school taught me how to do it and I couldn't get it up until I close my eyes I looked up and open them now I can do it long live the undertaker Gong 🔔🌧🌩⛈💧⚡🔥 God bless him and his family hope they continue to live a long healthy life amen.🙇♂️🤦♀️.
thats crazy how accidents create legacies
I actually know him, I used to deliver pizza on the weekends... he is a super cool, nice guy, killer family, just a peach, seriously. Spoke to him once for about 10 minutes, just a regular conversation, never mentioned his job once. He has a reputation around Lakeway and Austin restuarants for being a good table.
I loved the eye roll.. as kids, we all tried it too 😂
From this clip you learnt that UNDAHTAYKAH is not afraid of nobody but THE UNDAHTAYKAH!!!! 😂🤣
The Perfect Wrestling Career
I can’t lie when I was young around 5 or 6 I was terrified of the undertaker
The first time I ever seen the rolling of the eyes was in the early 80’s Kevin Sullivan in c w f
The goat
He first learned to roll his eyes back when Bruiser Brody kicked him in the chest, though that was unintentional.
He was how I learned how to do it 😂
Yuji Nagata also rolls his eyes when he tries an armbar. But Nagata's is not as intimidating as the Dead Man's. It's rather funny and goofy. Nagata also did it by accident while he struggled to climb back to stardom after the unsuccessful MMA stint. When the crowd looked at Nagata rolling eyes and busted into laughter, the poor guy believed the breakthrough moment for him came again. Well, it has been a routine that nobody taps out to his armbar or another opponent slaps his goofy face. He is still active and keeps doing it. Whenever Nagata goes for an armbar, the crowd chants "shirome! (roll your eyes!)"
Bro really got the Taker interview. Congrats. Still waiting for the Phenomenal One tho
As a kid I tried to do the eye roll but just couldn't Years later in college I got bored during class and rolled my eyes back by accident ever since I've been able to do it on command
Chris the culture wants to know about Takers thoughts of Kane doing the wazzup with D’von did he know about it beforehand? 🤣🤣
I tried rolling my eyes like Taker in 4th grade ('98) I could only do it if I used my fingers to hold my eye lids up. But eventually could do it like Taker and can still do do so lmao

It's actually a good thing to stretch your eye muscles once in a while. With your eyes closed, start in one direction then the opposite such as Up, Down, Left, Right. Hold each position for about ten seconds. Then do rotations either clockwise or counter-clockwise. After a few reps go the opposite direction.
@danjonmills

Gene Simmons did the same thing. So I wonder if he got that from Gene.
Where''s the actual match he refers to?
Kevin Sullivan? Huh?
I legit thought he was trying to copy Gene Simmons
Liv Morgan on rolling Dom Dom's what?
Most definitely Gene Simmons would be so proud of you..
taker could earn more money if he trademark himself and ask for money from horror movies who copied him.
Loved the eye rolling especially in his first atire,...seriously creepy, but HATED when he did his tongue poking out, it looked shit.
@danjonmills

You're pretty much alone in that. The tongue just increased the badass effect moreso.
Tombstone should have been protected to the very end. Let Shawn Michaels weakly kick out of one in the rematch with his career on the line. His last gasp before his career was over. Otherwise, the Tombstone should have been unblemished. Finishers are a joke today.
