    Super timely. I just had a passionate debate with someone over social media (worst forum for it, I know). While we were both respectful, we were both sure that we were right, and we were both exhausted by the end. I'm sure that my views didn't make sense to her, and hers didn't make sense to me. It's good to remember that the person you disagree likely came by their views honestly, as in, they have reasons that make sense to them even if they don't make sense to you or anyone else. I wish I had approached the topic with more curiosity and a desire to listen while holding fast to my principles instead of focusing solely on refuting her points.

    Yeah, bit he can always say you've chosen to be critical lol. I think he should have mentioned if we knew ourselves, we would understand why everyone does things WITHOUT good reason
