This is half true. Its only true in certain contexts. Why? Because Unity is important. But Unity without Truth or Morality is not good. Its not just about ending division. Its about unifying around the right thing. If the entire US had unified around Slavery would that have made slavery right or good? Case in point. To end division we must have an alternate good thing to unify around.
I understand the sentiment. But how do we reconcile that claim with this in Luke 12:49-53? Jesus Causes Division 49 “I have come to set the world on fire, and I wish it were already burning! 50 I have a terrible baptism of suffering ahead of me, and I am under a heavy burden until it is accomplished. 51 Do you think I have come to bring peace to the earth? No, I have come to divide people against each other! 52 From now on families will be split apart, three in favor of me, and two against-or two in favor and three against. 53 ‘Father will be divided against son and son against father; mother against daughter and daughter against mother; and mother-in-law against daughter-in-law and daughter-in-law against mother-in-law.’[a]” 54 Then Jesus turned to the crowd and said, “When you see clouds beginning to form in the west, you say, ‘Here comes a shower.’ And you are right. 55 When the south wind blows, you say, ‘Today will be a scorcher.’ And it is. 56 You fools! You know how to interpret the weather signs of the earth and sky, but you don’t know how to interpret the present times.
I think that needs context. I don't think he meant he is literally causing divide between people. I think he means his mere existence will cause division because there will be those who reject him
Violins playing... The most influential folks, on both sides, are mostly after power; getting it, or retaining it. Adding to that is the corrupting influence of lots of money. The best for people? It depends of what people...

Problem is the pendulum has swung one way and now the middle has shifted to accepting things Jesus wouldnt.

When I’m around my no I try to be Jesus like and forgiveness I treat her alright, it’s just my little so. He just turned 12 and I feel super bad horrible because I have snapped on him and made him cry. Then I feel the worst feeling in my soul I do apologize and months later it happened again. Then I again say sorry but I feel like I’m building up his wall with my own hands.
How do I let it go… I try so hard. My mom had issue and I tried all my life to not do the same thing. I almost feel like I need this stuck ugly spirit prayed out of me. I will pray for love and forgiveness. Andy
Andy please help me. I used to be really nice and these past years I haven’t been able to control my temper and I pray and read the Bible but I feel like I’m doing something wrong because I still loose my cool over stupid things. Help me. How how how. I love your teachings they are so real and hit the core. Which is the only way I learn. But I don’t have anyone to help me with this real issue.
